Just a small channel to show some of my astrophotography to friends and family! I take these pictures in my backyard with my telescope and camera.
Astro57 Tulip Nebula HOO
SH2-101, the Tulip Nebula, an Emission nebula about 5800 light years away in the constellation Cygnus. The image also includes the shockwave from Cygnus X-1, a powerful black hole nearby. The blue ring near the upper right of the "Tulip" is the shockwave from jets of high energy particles emitted from the black hole. Pretty neat! This is 16.5 hours of data gathered with my telescope in my backyard and processed in the HOO palette.

This video is fantastic! I'm really digging the visuals and music. Just “SUBSCRIBED” and gave it a 👍! Keep up the awesome work! 🔥🎶💖
thank you! I only started astrophotography three years ago, so still fairly new to it and still learning! I created this channel to show friends, family and anyone interested in this type of stuff what I'm up to. Sometimes I put my poems to my astro images with music like this one and other times its just my astro pics with some info about the nebula or galaxy. Just mixing it up :-)
1:47 So beautiful with the music! Love it!
thanks! yeah, when I heard this music I knew it was the right one for this video!
Very fitting music. It depicts an epic journey to me.
:-) sometimes, it takes me longer to find the right music for a project than actually making the video! This one didn't take long though, as soon as I heard it I knew it was just right for this project!

Dustin and I looked at this one together. It's beautiful! Great work Phil! ❤❤
thanks! glad yall are enjoying these! I made this one with my new telescope, it's been working pretty good :-)
@@astrobymock57 when I showed Dustin on my phone he said, that's beautiful! That new telescope must be nice. I'm sure you're enjoying it!
@@thibs57 , it's working out really good! took a couple months to get it dialed in, but now it's all set! I have a few projects for it this winter!
Great shot, congratulation, well done
thank you!

Seu estilo me lembra o meu.Este em particular achei muito parecido.
I really like this medieval, kind of futuristic style.
thanks! the Pleiades are a huge challenge for me to image! It took me three years to get to this point with it. It's tough to get the fine dust with the heavy light pollution I'm in!

Que bonito
Great captures on your channel. The only thing I don't like is when people say the distances in light years. 99.9% of the population are not aware how far away it really is in miles. In this case, it's 31,200,000,000,000,000 quadrillion miles away and for reference add the circumference of earth, which is 25,000 miles around. That will give people better understanding of your achievement....just saying. Thumbs up.
Thank you!
Incredible gorgeous. I love it 😍
Thank you!
So divine and exquisite!!! ❤❤❤

Can I go here
at the speed of light, it would take about 1500 years to get to this particular nebula! I'm hoping my astrophotography and poetry can bring the beauty of the cosmos to us, since we can't quite get there yet!
Beautiful
Thank you!
Nice images! I've tried being an astrophotographer using a regular camera for wide angle images, not necessarily a telescope. I was hoping one day to obtain a medium format or larger sized camera, with a really large aperture lens. Now I've got a micro 4/3 Lumix with a 50mm f/1.2. I don't think they make such large aperture for medium format though. I'd like to get the medium format camera cooled about fourty degrees Celcius less than ambient temperature.
thanks! I only started astrophotography three years ago, so I'm learning something new everyday! I currently run two William Optics gt71 telescopes with matching zwo 2600mc pro dedicated astro cameras. I typically cool them down to 0 degrees C. My sensors are aps-c size and my telescopes run at 336mm focal length.
I think it’s generally amazing how there’s another galaxy.
Don.t believe anything Nasa says they still speculating and theorizing ang guessing they know nothing
