Congratulations on your thriving blueberry bushes, and thank you for the information and the beautiful music. ❤
@@Silvia-pv1ls Thank you!
What type of soil you use for strawberries?
@@ykoam9679 I just use the potting soil.
Amazing harvest
@@ykoam9679 Thank you!
Beautiful harvest!! Do you preserve your garlic any special ways??
I freeze some of them.
What part of texas do you live?
@Perseverance4477 This plant is in New Jersey. I didn't start my garden yet in Royse, Texas. I'm planning to start it next year hopefully.
@@njandtxgarden7044 oh okay, I have heard of Royse. I live in cedar Hill, about 20 mins south of Dallas, so we are Texas neighbors! Hope you have a good luck starting the new garden in Royse!
@@Perseverance4477 Do you have clay soil also?
Is that giant fuyu?
@@Perseverance4477 It's just the regular fuyu.
Wow that's huge compared to Nikita's gift. I have had the fuyu in a small 3 gallon pot for 2 years and will put it in the ground this week and I also have a nikitas gift coming in the mail as we speak so I'm excited for that one. I want to get hichya persimmon too. I'm glad you like them, but I couldn't believe you ate it while it wasnt ripe 😅😆. Okay thanks for the reply! Goodick with gardening!
@Perseverance4477 Nikita is smaller in size compared to the fuyu. I want to plant the giant fuyu and other persimmon variety someday. Good luck and enjoy gardening! Thank you for checking out my channel!
Which varieties of blueberry plant those are ?
@MrNobody-pn3ke The blueberry variety I have are Bountiful blue blueberry and Jelly Bean blueberry. Both variety are compact and productive.
Wow very special. Your first harvested is a lot of fruits ❤
That was very interesting, thank you!
😍
I have a calamansi tree grown from seeds. It's 3 years old, and last August, I saw a single flower bud that turned into a fruit. Then, weeks later, more and more flower buds started coming out. My question is, how often do you fertilize your calamansi tree when it's already in the fruiting stage?
thanks for the video.❤ Approximately how many days it would take from fruit set to maturity/harvest?
Maybe a pinch of salt on the bitter fruit would help make it taste better and less bitter.
Wonderful ❤. Why is my blueberry leaves red?
@rabiahamid-massey8535 Is it cooler now in your area? Cool weather will change some of the blueberry leaves into red, orange, yellow and purple.
hello my friend!! did you have some cheeries on your cloned fruit tree yet?😇
My calamondin is big and desperately needs repotting. It’s September now, do you think I should repot it now or wait until the spring?
@vflytrap7158 if it is already rootbound or roots are coming out I will repot it to a bigger pot (1" bigger than the previous). It should still be fine to repot it this time.
Thanks for good tips! What varieties do you have there? I’m looking for a variety that doesn’t get too tall, or is it possible to prune the plants at a desired height and still get good harvest?
@ellin1709 the variety I have is very compact and productive. This is good for limited space. In the video, the variety I have are Bountiful blue blueberry and Jelly bean blueberry.
@@njandtxgarden7044 thank you, I will look into those!
Do all flowers turn to calamansi fruit? Is it self pollinated ?
@juliacalunsag7484 usually most of the flowers turn into fruit if they receive enough sunlight, nutrients, and water for the fruit development. It is normal for some flowers to fall off.
@@juliacalunsag7484 yes, they are self pollinating
beautiful, and blueberries are a so healthy. thanks for sharing
Messing with nature and changing the natural berry. No wonder people are sick even though they think they are eating healthy
Hello, what does it mean when my branches are turning a bit red? Is it possible that it has a disease? I’ve been getting a good amount of fruit on it but the redness of the branches make it look a little abnormal. I live in Northern California where it doesn’t get super hot or super cold.
I'm new to blueberries but I've heard leaves will turn red if soil is not acidic enough. Easy way to fix this is add Sulphur to soil around plant and water it in. There are also acid fertilizers.
@@joketsu100 thanks so much!

Thank you for your very informative tutorial. I have a couple of questions: 1. What zone do you live in? (I’m in 10b southern CA). 2. Did you recover the plants with the netting in between the 2nd & 3rd harvests? 3. What varieties of blueberries are your plants? Thank you! Christine
@@christinebohl2042 I am currently gardening in zone 7a new jersey. Yes, I cover them back again to protect them from the birds. The blueberry variety I have here in the video are the Jelly bean blueberry and Bountiful blue blueberry. Both varieties are compact and productive. Thank you for watching!
@@njandtxgarden7044 Wow! That was the fastest reply ever! Thank you so much for answering my questions, I really appreciate it! Christine
Wow what a beautiful garden
@@growinglongisland thank you!
what happens if u break the little stem off on accident from the little fruit bud after fertilising? will that stunt the growth of the fruit?
@@lionheart5078 it might or might not. If the fruits are still receiving what they need to continue with their growth it might be fine.
How do you prune your calamansi plant?
@@dolorestendido5990 I only prune dead stems and pinch the tip to make it bushy.
@@njandtxgarden7044 thank you
It was fun watching you eat the un ripen persimmon. You are very brave .lol
When in the spring do you usually do this? Also now that it is july do you do anymore pruning or prep?
Thank you so much for the tips
Thank you for watching my video!
I have the same trees in pots but soon will put them in the ground. cant wait to eat them delicious fruits!🙂
Yes, something to look forward to harvest and yes they are delicious.
Question. Where do you get bird netting that goes on like a bag?
I got it from Amazon, I posted the link in the description if you are interested.
My blueberries were eaten by the birds!!!!
Yes, birds love blueberries. That is why I cover them with netting so I can harvest some.
Really appreciated the monthly updates!! Have you tried any other propagation methods for this plant?
I haven't tried other method.
It’s so unique idea in garden .. can you please share your state where you are staying. I am staying in Texas and new gardener .. plan to plant some fruit plants… pls suggest which are suitable for Dallas vlimate

great mine are at that greeny blue stage, do they drastically swell at this point? They seem to be double the size when fully ripe in your vid.
Yes, they will get big
@@njandtxgarden7044 thankyou so much!
I had no idea you had to cross pollinate and I planted one two years ago and I don’t know what variety it is. And I only just learnt that I should have pulled the flowers off. Have I ruined any chance of success? Help please. I’d love any advice. I’m in Reno Nevada.
