A Peavey Impact 1 has been my go to guitar since 1987. The thing looks like a shredder but covers so much more territory. Even though the tone of my Les Paul sounds much better as a stand alone instrument, my Impact 1 cuts through the mix a whole lot better in a band context. The only mod I've done is to put a Tex Mex in the neck, otherwise everything else is stock. Great guitar for sure.

Great stuff. I can hear why you love that guitar. Peavey have made some classic gear. I remember a bass they made circa 1975. It was a futuristic-looking silver beast, and incredibly good fun to play. Love your playing too. Cheers.

I'm mostly a metal head, and a post/punk rock/post-hardcore kind of musician and a guitarist that is influenced by guitarists such as Dimebag Darrell from Pantera, Mark Morton from the Vireginia metal band Lamb of God, Ben bruce from the metal act, asking alexandria, Misha Mansoor from the progressive metal band Periphery, Eddie Van Halen, Kirk Hammett from Metallica, and Dave Davidson from the death metal band, Revocation. Great guitarists man. If you ever step foot into a guitar center, go check out all their signature guitars. Even if you ever get your hands on a classic B.C. Rich that is a Chuck Schuldiner model. And Chuck Schuldiner was the vocalist from the veteran death metal group, Death. December 13, 2024 will be the 23rd anniversary of his death. He will never be forgotten. Great guitarist, and great vocalist. People say, his band, death was the introduction to death metal in the late 80s. besides the other death metal veterans, possessed. B.C. rich, you should check one of those guitars out. i never played one but soon i will get my hands on one at a guitar center when i visit one of the store locations. Also, check out a james hettfield ESP guitar model someday if you ever visit your local guitar. His signature ESP guitars sound awesome. As well as Zach Wylde's signature guitars. my favorite ozzy guitarist of all time. besides zach being a part of his band, black label society. And if you are not a metal head, have no fear man. it's all good. Still check out those models anyway. of guitars. they play great. they sound good with the clean settings and they are no disappointment. keep rockin' and keep playing the guitar. never stop playing. music is life.
