Well done Yvonne, this is great. I do hope that we can take you and PJ out again. Just by the way the bikes are not Harleys but are original Chinese Red Army bikes dating back to the mid 1960's. These bikes, known as Changjiang's or cj750's are based on the 1938 World War Two BMW R71 sidecar, and, between 1955 and 1975 millions of these bikes were manufactured in China exclusively for the Red Army. In the mid 1070's however, they were declared obsolete for military purposes and almost all have been decommissioned and dismantled. Cape SideCar Adventures (www.sidecars.co.za) have been fortunate enough to build up their fleet over the years from salvaged bikes that have been rebuilt and modified to comply with South African road traffic legislation requirements. All the sidecars are grand old ladies from yesteryear and retain all the authenticity and nostalgia of days gone by....

Such a cool video, thanx Yvonne for putting it together and you captured the ride so well from your sidecar you were traveling in. Bev and I had an awesome time driving you and PJ around the Peninsula in the two Sidecars from Cape Sidecar Adventures. PJ loved it and the photos we took and this awesome video captured just that. Photos were great that we took at Hout Bay at the beach (right where they found that huge 2m Cape Cobra lurking that very same day) Eeeeeek! The photos taken at Hout Bay's Harbour wall edge were great too, and meeting Toodles (of Noodles) feeding the Seals raw fish from her mouth to put food in the mouths of her own children can only make us feel so grateful and inspired at the same time. The ride along from Llandudno to Camps bay was an awesome experience and those photos we took at Maidens cove with the Camps Bay back drop are awesome! Was thinking that PJ should turn that pic into a wall to wall wallpaper and paste in a special room at home because it boasts the 12 Apostles and a relaxed PJ, who's words after the ride was, " I can't remember when I had such a relaxing morning" Thank you Yvonne and PJ Powers for being awesome passengers. Thank you Sonja and Analise from SA Lady Bikers collaborating with Cape Sidecar Adventures for making this awesome morning happen. PJ Powers will be performing at the next SA Lady Biker Rally in the Valley taking place in Robertson next year.
