I also can't even begin to express how much I love the idea of using lots of cc (CAS, buildbuy) for setting up lore photos. That's such a great way to include cc in your save file but still limit the amount you're actually using for the version to eventually share (if that's the goal ofc). Pose pack shopping moment, love it!!!!!! yeah no I'm literally here for all the content on this channel Feeling like you got that perfect photo is so rewarding, but dang is there a lot of setup involved. And yet it's easily one of my favorite things to do in this game. As always I'm loving the vibes, thank you for posting!

if you want to take pictures easier there's a mod by RVSN that takes pictures wherever you place a camera that doesn't require a sim to do that!!

Recording for 2 hours mention at the 40 minute mark and I feel a little robbed of content ngl lol but that's also just me being sad I'm running out of videos to catch up on. Truly hoping with each video I open it'll just start with you saying "I'm cured, yay! Never felt better!" so I hope that by now you are actually no longer sick and are feeling better finally. I feel that statement of wishing for practical reasons you could build faster. I think the quickest build I've ever done in TS4 took me 2 days. And I mean two full days, full 48 hours (over the span of a few days ofc). If I get a build done in a week I'm happy. I'm sure the reason a lot of Simmer content creators are so quick with their builds is because of how often they build and how much time they've spent learning where to find all the items, like they've spent thousands of hours just building in this game so I'm sure that helps their speed lol. But I am still jealous. I like the concept of the smaller dish washers, but yeah it makes no sense to me that they don't slot to the half counters so we're just left with a weird counter if the drawers don't line up well so we have to use specific counters to avoid that. It really does come from our immense love of this game when we talk about all the things we're still missing in it, like you say we wouldn't spend all the money on this game we do and put all the hours of play into it if we didn't love it. What we have is good and it's getting better, but we just know it could be so much better and we want that for the game and for us. Definitely an EA company and capitalism problem with pushing games and DLC to release earlier than they should so the players are left with a broken, buggy experience they're all paying full price for (I say they instead of us because this is a problem outside of Sims too unfortunately, and I hate it).

I'm a Sims 3 player so I rarely ever watch Sims 4 videos but you've got me hooked cuz I play my game the same damn way. It's been like 3 years since I've actually played the game, all I do is expand on the lore. 😂😂😂 The hydrangea plantation is giving me an idea for one of those massive Twinbrook mansions since they have similar vibes. It'd make a beautiful wedding lot.

"Are you gonna get on your bike too? Yeah!" We really do get excited when our Sims actually perform basic actions. It is so funny and sad.

The jacket on Harlow's party wear really completes that outfit. And that right there is exactly why playing this game without cc is so hard. Making my own save file too, and I'm hoping to make it one I eventually feel confident sharing publicly, but to do that I don't want to use cc personally so it can be a little more user friendly to everyone. But then of course mods are going to be integral to making the save function the way I want it to. All this to say, you're already using some cc in the builds so I don't see any reason to not use some CAS cc too. I see a few saves where people shared a cc version and a non-cc version. So try not to limit yourself if it makes you happier to use the cc. Past relationship couple photos that one Sim holds onto is such good hidden lore, I love that idea! Referencing lyrics for in-game song titles is also great, I don't know why I hadn't thought of that yet. I do plan to have some of my Sims be prolific writers so the libraries are full of their works, and I plan to use a lot of poetry lines for the titles. So lyrics for song titles just makes sense. ("it sure is a song" gods I feel that. Having to look up terms to remind yourself if it applies just so you can use it in a description is so real omg) I've been playing the Sims since the first game and I'm still learning so much about this game from your videos. I had no idea your Sims could look inside other household's storage boxes and items can be kept inside like the keepsake boxes. I hope you're not feeling too pressured while making this save and sharing your process with us. I know it's a lot of work, and I think I've said it before but it really is so special to see this process and the save come to life. The rambles are part of what sets your channel apart and makes it feel so cozy. I wish more people would stop editing out all of their pauses in videos tbh, sometimes the slower pace is better and it's more real.

I'm listening to this video while I cc shop to build lore for my save file 😂. It's going to be a factory town that was founded in the 1890s, but the main plot is set in the 1930s/40s and it has some drama (think family drama a la Rosemary Kennedy and that entire mess)

On the rental unit cap, idk if you're already aware, but TwistedMexi has a More Rentals mod that increases the rentals per save to 250 rental units. So if you find yourself getting close to the 100 cap and want to put more rental units in the save, you can use that mod.

I have a save file that I started as a Runaway Teen challenge. and as I was creating my Teen, I starting creating the Lore in my head, as I often do. and before you know it. I was making her Mom and sister, Dad (pass away) , neighbors, high school Love, Bestie. Grandparents. All of it. Its been about 6 months in the works. I hope when i finally play it. it "works" like i see it in my head. LOL ☕💜💙🖤️‍🌈🇵🇷

I love when they hear us talk and try to get in our laps because they just know we must be talking to them. So precious. "Double waste of time" is such a great description for not wanting to watch our Sims live in front of their screens, even if we ourselves do so more than we'd like. The redbull backpack story is crazy. What a way for them to advertise. As always, super chill relaxing content.

I thought I knew of all the mods you would feature, but that shorter university degrees mod is new to me and sounds so useful for setting up a savefile but not wanting to simply use mccc to cheat Sims to have degrees. Bit late to commenting here because I've been watching all your videos in order since I found your channel- MY FAVE SIM FAMILY LITERALLY USED TO LIVE IN THE HOUSE YOU'RE DECORATING!! I literally love this shell so much, you did such a good job with it! I love how realistic and natural it is because I love houses that feel like real life houses. I don't hate the way I decorated it, but I LOVE the way you decorated it. Shame the whole family has either passed away or moved out of it now that I have this as inspo. I had no clue this was by you!! This was shocking.

not me commenting late to all your older videos but I totally agree with your takes on the new expansion. I don't play the game enough to justify using so much money to use to get all these nice things. I just recently buyed a bundle with country living, dream home decorator and tiny home (all pretty old packs compared to how now there are also 3 new expansions) and I don't even own for rent yet despite really wanting the gameplay (also several others). I just wish they fixed the game and then stopped with it so me and my mods could live in peace.

Chaos starting strong with a surprise pregnancy. The way I had to pause and check the household count to be sure before you even said it could only be one baby, like imagine if it'd been surprise twins. Wilder and Jenna having that sweet, late night romantic slow dance together after all the personal drama and not being on the same page, that moment was just too cute!

Had a similar experience at my job. I had borrowed a marker from Person A but it actually belonged to Person B. Keep in mind, markers get used and borrowed at my job so often. Well Person B was upset that I had left their marker in the work area cuz it got lost in the shuffle. Next day I come in with 2 markers, one for me and one for Per. B. I hand them the marker as an apology and they got bitchy with me cuz “it wasn’t the same marker” and they want their original marker back. I yell back cuz it’s early morning and they’re being a dick for no reason. My manager ended up siding with me because they knew that it takes a lot to get me upset and I’m never the type to yell/argue for no reason. Only argument I’ve ever had t my job for the 3 years I’ve been there and it was over a fucking marker😭
