I need this thing to finish mudding a domed ceiling!

Dang, you're fast. I can never get my hems tight. I have the pro 14 and it leaves at least a 1/16" near the bend. It makes the head flashing look fat/bulky. Does the brake need adjustment? Or do I need a new brake? Bought it new about 15 years ago

I was taught to stick a piece of metal under the j channel your making. You can use scrap or if you need multiple pieces of J. If you set the metal under the J and slide it in all the way to the hinge. When you bend it. You will get a finished piece of 1/2 inch J and the piece under will have a 3/4 90 degree bend. This becomes the hem of the next piece you make

How thick can the metal sheet be in mm please. I have tought about bying one from you guys . In sweden we work with 0,9 and 0,7 mm aluminum and the same with regular painter metall sheets. Then we have copper and zink in 0,7 as well.

I want to do this to a post that has a bow in the middle, it goes about 1.5 inches(!) out of straight. I'm thinking of just tacking on shims on middle top and bottom to make it flat to where the aluminum will only touch at top, middle and bottom but at least be flat. Any other ideas? I'm just worried it might not have enough support but I've been surprised how stiff this can be over long lengths.

I never liked using the razor blade on my brakes. I saw friends that made a living with their brakes, cut metal with the knife, it wore through the stainless face. Now, with that said, it probably took 10,000 cuts to get there. Which way do you angle your knife, I couldn’t tell, thanks. I really love your brake. I need to sell two and buy yours, lol. Thanks

Here is a video where i had to transport a 14ft -24" deep - heavy duty innovatools modular brake with all the accessories out of town overnight and didn't want to bring a trailer. Disassembled it all fit in the back of my truck in my 5.5' bed with the tonneau cover closed. I have a lot of people reaching out to see how easy it is to take apart and reassemble as needed after the initial assembly. Damn that is efficient. Nice work. Do you struggle with hemming big pieces? like 8 inch wide and above. I get caught in the handle and I'm wondering if I'm the issue or if it's just like that on tapco brakes.

Will the cutoff tool work on different brakes? Would it work for now on my van mark, and then when i can afford to upgrade to an innova brake, will it work the same?

Sir! This is shockingly good work, stunning quality. Its been at least a decade since ive seen a builder put such care into a home. The layers of caulk so such attention to detail! Anyway: i am trying to figure out how to manipulate sheet so i can build caps for some exposed decorative 2x12 beams that are 30’ long. What tools do you recommend for long straight cuts and 90 degree bends?

Hey Alex, Bryan Flemming in southern mn. I bought a brake from you and its an amazing tool. Your roof looks great! I myself also hate having exposed fasteners. Since we use steel trim coil for all our wraps i have found that small yet very strong magnets are great while my caulking sets up. I know most guys use aluminum but if you are ever triming something in steel and cant get a miter to lay right or just need something to stay until the caulk sets up. Magnets are a great trick to have in your back pocket to make things lay perfect.

What was the tool you mentioned to crimp the triangle piece before putting on the cap? Really cool video.
