hi! i'm in dubai so proper bedding is unfortunately hard to find 😕 my paper bedding is carefresh natural and small pet select mixed with kaytee aspen wood shavings and then it between each layer is a thin layer of oxbow orchard grass hay! i get my bedding from either amazon or other online stores in dubai that may miraculously have them in stock

there are alot of unsafe pet things on shein so i tend to go for the naturalistic and wooden items from the website. i also bake any wooden items (that don't have a gloss over them) in the oven to sanitize to make it extra safe. my only concern would be not knowing the type of wood used. it's just not a worry for me with my hamster josie cause she's not a chewer at all. so that's just one thing to note if you buy from shein! hope this helps 😊

@@samandhamhams its 6:20 PM in canada and I just finished setting the detolf up. I'll post a video soon when I get the lid, I'm using the shelves and the lid from my old cage as a lid for the detolf atm. Not the best but it works! 💖🐹

not a strange question at all. when i adopted her, she came in those small pet store cages that looks like a crittertrail. i use that as her travel carrier and for when i deep clean. i stuff it with lots of bedding, 2 hides, some food and a water bowl, sometimes treats because deep cleans take about 2-3 hours.

@@anyaletecia3327 if you have a carrier you can use that 😊 just stuff with lots of bedding and a hide so they can still feel secure
