Ted Nugent - Live at Walnut Creek Amphitheater (1995)
มุมมอง 85K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Pro-Shot concert of Ted Nugent performing at the Walnut Creek Amphitheater in North Carolina, USA on 06/23/1995. In my humble opinion Ted's peak guitar-skills wise. Plus it has the awesome Derek St.Holmes singing all the classics. Enjoy. 01. Journey To The Center Of Your Mind 00:38 02. Wang Dang, Sweet Poontang 04:10 03. Just What The Doctor Ordered 12:15 04. Michigan turns RED and MOF for Uncle Ted baby!!!
Story goes that Ted is still chewing on that same piece of gum today.........
A lot going on in this video. A four-piece straight-up and in your face just killin' it. As tight as a snare drum.
How this man isn’t in the RNRHOF is beyond me his songs have stood up to the test of time !! His guitar licks and riffs are off the charts !! As a member of the Amboy Dukes at 18 help write The song Journey to the center of the mind !! Any list of the best guitarist and he’s not in the top 5 it’s a bogus list !! On some list Ted’s not even on it but Joan Jett is claiming her to be a better guitarist than Ted which is simply ludicrous !!
Absolutely right ! He should be in but the politics are stopping that for so far. Lets hope politics will chance in coming weeks! And greets from the old continent! Uncle Ted Rocks!
Uncle Ted the Electric Shaman of Hard Rock!!!!! The Spirit of the Wild in Raging Hot Slabs of Molten Sonic Musical Airwaves in a bombarding Sonic Attack of FREEDOM!!!!!
Uncle Ted The Electric Shaman of 100,000 WATTS of Raging Lighting Storm of ROCK!!!!
what an awesome performance.
“JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF TED’S MIND”
Nuge is a rock-n-roll showman. He lives life to his code. I am sure he gets a huge belly laugh from the detractors who never stood on a stage or those who cast their demons upon him. Thank you Ted, for all you do…
He’s never been a serious musician as much as a clown.
Wikipedia...what a disgrace...
Not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.............the libs control it , that's why.
We have hunted the same Ranches! how about a Hello, Brother?
and Again! ur the be
Mr. Nugent! just want a HELLO! Troy Ballard, fellow Texas Blood Brother! Hello, AGAIN!
This is a great set.
very good trio
Just look at that guitar. Master and a gift.
The magic is seeing him live. What a rush!
@@stevelichliter7008he’s fantastic I saw him the first time in 1978 I have seen him a total of 8 times he never disappoints and I mean never !! Any list of guitar players that doesn’t include his name in the top five is a bogus list !! Personally he’s my favorite him and Michael Schenker both tremendously underrated !!
fucking A
He wrote that at age 17..that's raw natural talent
I saw Ted open for ZZ top on this tour. It was my 18th birthday present still can't believe it's already been over 20 years ago.
When he opened for KISS he literally blew them off the stage. I love Ace, but he's not in Ted's league.
UNCLE TED NUGENT BELONGS IN THE ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME. HE IS ROCK AND ROLL ALL THE WAY. LONG OVER DO.
WOW!
Saw Ted a couple times in the 70s, and got hearing damage. Haven’t seen him since and this show really rocks. Great starting the show with Journey to the center of the mind.
This was the Ted evolving from the madman to the genius we now have. Great tour
Uncle Ted for America
I saw Ted on this tour with The Chris Duarte Group and Bad Company was the headliner. It was my first rock concert in Houston, TX. at the Woodlands Pavillion.
I saw him on his last tour, August 10th 2023 in the Rose Music Center in Dayton Ohio. All I can say is I wish I was old enough to have seen him more and in his prime!
I saw ted and his band August 1969 Midland Michigan FairGrounds . . . Dave Palmer on drums . . . .
My name is earl tv series had to be built and based off this intro interview
MAGGOT NUGENT TREASONOUS SCUM BAG
Damn shame Ted didn't like sharing the spotlight. He and Derek were such a great team. Alpha's gonna Alpha.
Ted and Derek are still friends. They still play live occasionally. This is 1995 and Derek was on the "Spirit of the Wild" album which is a damn good album. Derek also came back for the "Nugent" album back in the early 1980s but it didn't do well. Had a great lineup with Carmine Appice of drums.
Truth !
Peacocks gotta be when they both can play lead
What is the "truth"? Derek came back for the "Nugent" album in 1982 and it didn't do well. He was on the "Spirit of the Wild" album in 1995. This show was in support of that album. Derek is still friends with Ted.
I think the guitar he is using in this video is the one he actually used on the original recording with the Amboy Dukes.
GOD,COUNTRY AND TED NUGENT.....
The Motor City Madman!
HEL YEAH!!!!
Does anyone know who Ted was opening for? I was at this show and I have always remembered it being KISS, but I cannot find any confirmation of that.
Bad Company. The Kiss shows were the first round of Farewell shows and then the Psycho Circus tour I believe. I remember that one distinctly because Derek was not on the tour with him but did sit in on the Atlanta date, which I was there for that one.
I'm a spaniard, live in the Canary islands, lived 5 whole years in Houston and Boston, full patriot spaniard but half my heart belongs in the US. Go USA stand strong!! Come united again!! Uncle Ted!! come to Tenerife por favor!!!
Ted had his final tour last summer 2023. He still does one off shows. I saw in York, PA is July 2024. I will see him again Sept 13th 2024 in OC, MD. I believe these are his only official shows so far this year 2024.
Ted Nugent for Trump's VP !!!!
that's so awesome...every time.pretty cool music.since "Gonzo" i'm addicted to this stuff .
Biiden and admin American Cow......ards
Hard to believe this was 29 years ago. Where does the time go.

Wowww I'm like ok badass players let's see ya follow this man!!!
How could this Amazing Rock& Roll Man NOT be in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame???????
He's very very very pro gun and pro second amendment. I'm sure that makes him some enemies.
Even Better today than Back Then! The Motor City Mad Man is Alive & Well.. Don't miss seeing him live while you still have a chance!
Ted doesn't have a great guitar sound, he is a great guitar sound himself. Fused with his guitar like no one else
Pale shadow of the 70s
