Why is the music in the background so long? The calm way in which he speaks is being overpowered
He stayed and profited off apartheid.
A good man. A good business leader. Much positiveness. Many good points BUT our SA constitution is definitely not the right one. The whole government system needs to be dissolved. The country is a failed state. Maybe we should not be a unitary state. Being positive about supporting a failed system and constitution is unfortunately not good leadership.
Condolence to Ackermans ,family and Picknpay customers may his soul rest in external peace
Most inspiring from a fantastic individual and one of our all time greatest sportsman Mr. Gary Player. God Bless you Gary
Forever our champion coach. Thank you for your contribution in 2011 WC victory.

What are the components of ethical leadership
oooolala
In 1966, Player espoused support for the apartheid policies of Hendrik Verwoerd in his book Grand Slam Golf, stating: "I must say now, and clearly, that I am of the South Africa of Verwoerd and apartheid ... a nation which ... is the product of its instinct and ability to maintain civilised values and standards amongst the alien barbarians. The African may well believe in witchcraft and primitive magic, practise ritual murder and polygamy; his wealth is in cattle".[38] Activists publicly demonstrated against Player's espousal of apartheid, including protesting against Player at the 1969 PGA Championship. Australian activists also strongly protested against Player. In 1971 there were several threats to protest against Player at tournaments though they never came to fruition.[39] Years later, in October 1974, Australian activists screamed at Player, "Go home racist", as he was lining up a putt on the 72nd hole in a tournament he had a chance to win.[

Big up's on the 4 legs of the table, take care and let's rock venda .And maybe where people need help, like recycling, solar plant's and electric car's!!!!
And then They do not want to Leave.
I sincerely pray that there is alot more people whatever race or colour that want to see our beautiful country succeed and - it gets hard to see or hope sometimes as it seems greed and selfishness is overwhelming
Want to talk about real persecution, talk to some of the non white golfers who were denied the opportunity to play sport at a professional level in this country, that's really persecution.
Tell a van der Merwe joke in America 😆
Very inspiring. I remember "John Maxwell" also spoke about connecting with people & building relationships - Yeah that's very crucial
Wonderful Interviews How about Morne du Plessis HO de Villiers John Farrell Roy McCallum old School Principles
LOVE this - Thanks, Gary. We get so sucked in by the ways of the world that we forget about the reason we were created and our ultimate purpose while chasing goals and wins.
We are living in a generation where everyone wants to be heard but no one is ready to listen. Thank you Gary, i am inspired.
God Gary. Always wears black because he never stops crowing. Short man who never can stop proving how tough he is.
you didn't get it at all 🤦🏻♂
Well said! We see the world through the subconscious filters in front of our eyes. Each of us can make South Africa amazing 🙌❤️🏆
Very encouraging words from both parties. This is the type of content the media won’t publish. Appreciate this!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Really inspiring story and critical leadership understanding. Thanks Bertie. Looking forward to the next inspiring story.
Thanks Gary. You are quite the inspiration.
Dynamite...Close your mouth, open your ears, and when you do speak, ask questions. Awesome
Good one!
Mandela once said if you don't like Gaddafi, it does not mean I have to be his enemy. The same can be said about Gary Player and Trump.
well done gary you deserve it. as for your son he is an idiot.
Gary player is great. But there are times when you show greatness by saying no.
Does Gary Player deserve the award? Let him have it. Stop hating!
Stop hating!
Isn't that the guy who thought apartheid was a good idea? His willingness to accept a medal from Donald Trump defines him as a man of limited character.
Gary save your legacy; decline it. Save your legacy. Trump gives them like bribes. Ask Jack how he is feeling now after Jan. 6...
Gary Player is a self confessed racist. Very appropriate for him to get a a medal from Trump. Fitting even.
Hopefully, you will refuse the Medal of Freedom from this terrible, terrible POTUS. It would be a major embarrassment for GOLF!!! Please do not let him use you!!!
Amazing! Well done!
WOW - How inspiring
Great humility :-)

I have known Bertie, CEO of WastePlan personally for over two years and what an amazing man he is. The success WastePlan has had over the years is all to do do with his leadership approach where Integrity, company values & ethics are the foundation of how they their lives. Brand's interpretation and answers to the questions are absolutely spot on and he conveys his views in a humble yet to the point manner - i have not come across a more accurate guideline and set of principles, which if CEO's follow his advise, you can only be successful. Well done Bertie & Brand.
