KT Maritime has been established to provide the Australian and regional markets with marine towage / tugboat operations and related maritime services, focusing business development efforts in the expanding Energy and Resources sectors.

KT Maritime Services Australia Pty Ltd was incorporated in July 2012, and is a joint venture company between established tugboat companies Kotug International B.V. and Teekay Shipping Australia Pty Ltd.
