So in case Juzo wasn't able to pull the lever before dying from bleeding out, he still made sure that Munakata would still be saved to pull the lever himself to remove the bracelets. Juzo still loves Munakata so much after all this time, to pay attention and do anything to save him.
This still breaks my heart. Watching Juzo's journey as it aired, as an LGBTQ+ person - we all HATED him, and then both series just completely pulled the rug out from under our feet. Watching him die was so, so rough.

It’s also super tragic because in the end, chisa,juzo and kyosuke all found themselves leaving eachother..I never though juzo would be this precious to me.. AND THE DANG BACKGROUND MUSIC MAKES IT HURT EVEN MORE-
Honestly, I think in the end it wouldn't matter if Juzo were to tell the truth or not. It's Junko we are talking about here, with the brainwashing on it's way and her analytical prowess...
