Hello! My biggest threat as coming from Europe but not European Union - to what certain extent they check funds I'd transfer to buy a property?. My bank doesn't keep records longer than five years and my current Bank not longer than two years. In the other words I do not have documents regarding payments I have received!! Big part of it was on the crypto market (which means anonymous) and change from crypto to EUR currency (fiat) using OTC (over the counter). when making such a transection were paper trail does not exist. All my salaries before to or three years can not be backed by bank - no records. Am I completely screwed or there is a way around it? I don't want my money to be frozen on some account for months! That would be the worst scenario? Please help if you can. P.S. what if I open a company and put myself as a director, and company pays the property? Is it all the same or not? Hey! Got a few questions about registering as autonomo as an online tutor (I have a PhD in physics/biomterials): I'm Polish, trying to register in Valenica. I have already: NIE (just the number on a paper stamped by the immigration office) Padron in Valencia Private health insurance that covers me in Spain with no co-pays Spanish bank account (with upwards of 12k eur on it) EU passport/ID card I read that I have to go to the tax office, fill out a 037 form, and then bring documents from the tax office to register with social security. Then I can register as autonomo. After have all of the documents I listed above plus the registration as an autonomo, will that be enough to become resident here in Valencia, even before I have acquired any income or clients? Or do I need to show that I have already earned money as an autonomo and show that I have a certain lump sum/regular income from my self-employed work? Not sure what financial situation is expected of me. Thank you in advance!

Valencia is overrated. Average flats beyond ugly with an average asking price well above CV. Only good deal is to buy a house/chalet on the coast or inland, yet bear in mind quality of construction in Spain generally speaking is one of the lowest in EU.
