#13: Soul in the Game: Ella & Magrus - When Bossa Nova Runs in the Blood
We've all heard of 'Skin in the game,' but have you ever come across an artist who has their 'Soul in the Game'? There's a difference. Ella and the Bossa Beat demonstrate that difference on this podcast.
In this episode, we talk with Ella and Magrus (Ella's father) about their musical journey in the genre of Bossa Nova. It's a conversation where we explore the technical skill of playing Bossa Nova, the writing process, the importance of emotional depth in performance, and even enjoy a FREE DRUM LESSON from Magrus himself.
Ella is not just an accomplished musician with a soulful voice; she's a storyteller accompanied by her father, a bombastic, charismatic drummer from the heart of Brazil.
Ella and the Bossa Beat are making their mark on Spotify with their latest album 'Paradise'.
This podcast is for any artist looking for inspiration from someone who is in the midst of a once-in-a-lifetime breakthrough.
Stay creative folks.

Great thumbnail, even better episode.
Same here. Went to see it twice.
what's also important is syncing your audio
The hardest part about creating content is knowing that no matter how good you think something is someone won’t like it and they’ll be sure to let you know. If you put out a video with a million views and 100k comments you could have 999,999 positive comments but that 1 negative one can still sting.
Incredible how the weight and power of ONE negative comment can diminish the confidence and positivity of content posted.
I don’t know Tyler Perry, but I admire himand love him GOD BLESS

Tom. I had a great time learning about your career. You've done a lot of great work since our time in the Gainesville High School Drumline days. Thank you for your passion for drumming and for teaching and mentoring future generations of drummers. 0:49 You're the man!
Congratulations TH.
This is cool. 😎
jesus even the black people in holiday are jewish aren't they? fuck...
You know what man, this stuff sounds great. As if I'd want to work for a company like that. (Not sarcasm) I just can't get behind all the talk about how poorly the company treats their employees.
thought it would be about the Nokia 8110
Yea no shit. He's literally a parseltongue
Who hates it and what is an iPad mini pro?
WTF...... Hahahahahaha
The left leaning crowd is typically the one who makes enough money to be closer to the money. Therefore they are able to buy tickets to your show. Life isn't stressful for them, so they can laugh. The right leaning crowd is mostly at your show because their wives still watch The View.
LMAO I feel attacked, yeah you can joke about anything with me but don't go after my diety xD
You can make jokes about trump, just don't repeat what cnn says, make jokes about him that appeal to right wing people, people hear trump "jokes" all the time with talk show hosts and they don't like people lying because of their political beliefs You don't understand why people don't like when you jole about trump, thats fine, avoid him, but if you have to, make jokes that make sense, don't do it out of hate for him
This coming from the same crowd that flys literal flags that say fuck Joe biden?
