Sad thing is y'all don't know how to handle the fish. It probably died do to your lack of knowledge. Not to offend you but just a peace of something you may have not know.
Thank you for your very helpful input
Can you provide some background on the Avenza maps? I’m curious. I downloaded the app. Is there a explanation in a previous video
Sure! Avenza maps lets you download maps (some for purchase) or use their base map feature. Then you can use the navigation features to lay tracks, save waypoints, etc. I like it because I can add photos to the waypoints and include notes like lure, time, tide, etc.
I just fished here in July (From WV)and did good on Whiting and Spots, I cannot wait to come back in October and get on these bad boys and some Puppy Reds, Surf Fishing is my fav!!!!
Good luck! Reds are the best
Only snook can unhook themselves like that, makes no sense, as if they have invisible hands.
You’ve got that right 😂
Nice catch
Thanks!

Awesome video bro, and if you read this comment, can you tell me what’s biting now off the beach? I live in South Georgia and I’m trying to side if I should head for the gulf or the ocean.
Thanks! I’m not living in the area at the moment, but I would hop on Facebook and search for fishing group pages that are for the areas you want to fish. I find lots of good info on those. Good luck!
How were the mosquitos?
Not bad at all but this was in February.
My God thats a big bluefish the ones I catch in the OBX are so tiny
This was right off Atlantic Beach… just south of the OBX!
Love fishing there. We used to catch huge ones back in the early 90's.
So I’ve heard… born too late I guess 😆
Yes indeed. Grew up with the big blitzes ❤
Is that the point at Buxton?

What rod and reel are you using ?
I used a 10ft Daiwa Beefstick with a size 5000 Okuka Rockaway reel
Dope
Thanks!
Props to you! I know how hard that paddle is on Taylor Creek headed east. My partner and I have a tandem inflatable, put in at Curtis A Perry Park headed west around the tip of Rachel Carson Reserve, smooth sailing.... until it was time to head back. The way back east was SLOW going against that current. We were exhausted at the end of our 7 mile paddle! I'm looking forward to trying to get out to Shackleford Banks and doing some camping of our own. Where exactly did you put in at? I noticed the Duke Research Vesel... must've been at the far west end of Beaufort?
Thanks! Learned my lesson going east on Taylor 😆. Next time, I’d try to cut thru Rachel Carson at high tide or go around on the south side. We were students at the Duke lab so we just put in at their dock. Radio Island beach access is also very close by. Thanks for watching!
@@KastingwithKei funny you say that... cutting thru rachel carson at high tide was our original gameplan. We prob got 50 yards into the reserve and the water got so shallow that i had to get out of the kayak and push it back toward the river. I figured that might happen. However, I did not anticipate that the ground under the kayak was clam filled swamp muck that we sunk knee deep with every step. It was gross
@gregorydavis6719 noted 😆 will not be attempting that
@@KastingwithKei maybe your kayak would fair better than mine. I think my biggest mistake was not taking the skeg out before entering rachel carson.
CINEMATIC MASTERPIECE😙🤌
Thank you 😊
The bird at 2:21
Red-winged blackbird
A little fish bite really goes a long way
Solid two hours worth
she's a great dentist if she calls retainers braces.......... jk no disrespect
What’s up?
Hey bro. I've been fishing my whole life but the problem is I'm from Louisiana. I'm really experienced but I don't know the new area I live in. I was thinking about fishing the Chattahoochee near where I live since I've moved to Georgia recently. I was going to maybe throw some smaller finesse soft plastics for some small bass around there. Would you recommend bass fishing in the Chattahoochee or just try and learn how to freshwater trout fish ? Also nice video, I like these.
Thanks so much! I appreciate it. I can’t speak to freshwater fishing in Georgia because I haven’t done much, but here’s what I would do: go to Facebook and search along the lines of “Georgia freshwater fishing group” or “Georgia trout fishing group” and ask them. They’ll definitely be able to give you some advice. Hope this helps!
What milepost was this?
This was at beach access 9
Can’t remember last time my rod bent like that 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The surf’s where it’s at!
Nice sesh mate! I enjoyed and I pay you my respect by subscribing. See ya in your next video 💪
Thanks so much! I appreciate you
