Since I don’t live in the US, I need to understand what products I should look for here in Sweden.. do you know what the products are called in Swedish? Don’t you use any more product on top that protects the gold from rough weather? Will it last? Even standing the test of time?? Like a sealant or a lacque on top, hard product on top? Please say you understand what I am trying to ask…. 😱😩 don’t know how to properly phrase it.

Awesome video, thanks for sharing your knowledge! Btw, if you want to place an object into the centre of a page, just select said object and press the 'p' key! This centres both vertically and horizontally. If you want to place a design made up of multiple objects into the centre of a page, make sure they're 'grouped', otherwise all the individual objects will be rearranged into the centre, ruining the composition!

There is a shelf life to the photo resist so don't buy more than you think you will use in about a year. It gets harder to wash out and keep fine details after that. Still works but you would use if for less detailed items.

How do you make those stencils ? I'm trying to figure out what I need to buy so I can make custom stencils like that.. Looks alot easier laying the stencils , picking out the letters and sand blasting it ..

Really useful. I have made several fonts in CorelDRAW before, but without paying much attention to sizing, etc. This helped to make something more in-line with what's expected from a font. Thanks!

Great use of the smart fill tool here! I personally use Contour (CTRL+F9 for the docker) for the pinlines as it will follow the Ogee correctly.

It's fun to see your workflow. I normally give my text on outline (Right-Click Red in the Palette) then remove the fill color (Left-Click the X in the Palette), but I can see that Transparency would also be quite useful. I also normally adjust spacing on-the-fly with the shape tool, but maybe that's because I don't have your awesome Text Tool =)

At 0:50 you mention the drawing direction. If you draw in the wrong direction you can also just reverse the curve direction to fix that. At 4:10 you use ALT, but you can also use ALT+CTRL+DRAG and it will make a copy leaving the original icon where it was. You likely already knew that, but just thought I'd mention it in case anyone else was wondering. Thanks for the videos!

Thanks for sharing. When spraying the photoresist film with water, do you still need to be in a room protected from natural UV? Is there a point when the stencil film is safe in UV light?
