    Should I submit bank statement or proof of funds letter from bank?

    • @VisaPrime
      @VisaPrime 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You might need to submit both your bank statement and a proof of funds letter from your bank, depending on your situation, when applying for a change of status or extension of stay with the I-539 form. Here's a breakdown: Bank Statements: These are generally requested as evidence of financial resources to support yourself during your stay in the US. USCIS recommends submitting 3 months' worth of recent statements [USCIS I-539 Instructions]. Proof of Funds Letter: This is a formal document from your bank that verifies your account balance and good standing. It can strengthen your application by providing a clear picture of your available funds. In short: While bank statements offer a more detailed look at your transactions, a proof of funds letter provides a more official verification of your financial standing. It's recommended to submit both for a stronger application. Hello, I accidentally forgot to put my second last name in the box 1.A … because I have two last names. I submitted my I-539 online, and I wrote a request about that missing information and I uploaded my request on “additional evidence”. I’m worried if USCIS can deny my application since I forget to write my second last name 😫

    • @VisaPrime
      @VisaPrime 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It appears you forgot to include your second last name in your I-539 application. While a missing middle name generally doesn't cause delays according to the USCIS website, it's understandable to be worried since you have two last names. Here's what you did well: Explained the situation: You took a proactive step by writing a request about the missing information and uploading it in the "additional evidence" section. This demonstrates your attentiveness to the application. What you can do now: Wait for processing: USCIS will likely review your explanation and uploaded request alongside your application. Contact USCIS (optional): If you are very concerned, you can call USCIS customer service at 1-800-375-5283 to inquire about your specific situation. Explain that you submitted an I-539 application and uploaded a request about a missing last name in the "additional evidence" section. Important to remember: This is not legal advice. It's always best to consult with an immigration attorney for specific immigration concerns. They can provide tailored guidance based on your situation. I hope this information helps!

    I want to get R1 visa for Us . how can i apply it ! How can I get I _129 form ?

    • @VisaPrime
      @VisaPrime 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great! The R-1 visa is for religious workers in the United States. Here's how you can get started: Eligibility: First, confirm you meet the requirements. You must be a member of a religious denomination with a non-profit organization in the US for at least two years, and have a job offer in a religious occupation (minister or religious vocation) from that organization. Employer Petition (Form I-129): Your prospective employer in the US will file Form I-129, Petition for Nonimmigrant Worker, on your behalf with USCIS. They can't directly give you the form, but they'll handle the filing process. Your Application: Once the petition is approved, you can apply for the R-1 visa at a US embassy or consulate. This will involve filling out the DS-160 online visa application form and attending an interview. Here are some resources to help you: US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) information on R-1 visas: [USCIS R1 visa ON United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (.gov) uscis.gov] Travel.gov information on Temporary Religious Worker Visas: [Travel.gov temporary religious worker visa ON U.S. Department of State (.gov) travel.state.gov] Remember, this is a general overview. It's always recommended to consult with an immigration attorney for specific guidance on your situation.

    Renewal can be done completely online, no mailing in docs at all? Does the form have a limit to how many files can be uploaded? I have docs that have multiple pages.

    • @VisaPrime
      @VisaPrime 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, Form I-90 renewal can be done completely online through the USCIS website [USCIS I-90 online filing]. You won't need to mail in any documents at all. There is a limit of 35 MB for the total size of all uploaded files. If your documents are larger than this, you will need to compress them or scan them at a lower resolution. For multi-page documents, you can upload them as a single file. USCIS accepts most common file formats, including PDF, JPG, PNG, and BMP.

    I have a very important question. If a employer asks u to fill out a I-9 form does that mean u will automatically be e-verified? Or can the employer inspect ur documents himself? How does this really work? Thank in advance.

    • @VisaPrime
      @VisaPrime 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Filling out an I-9 form (Employment Eligibility Verification) is a separate process from E-Verify. Let me break it down: I-9: This is a mandatory form for all employers in the US to verify your eligibility to work. You'll present documents proving your identity and authorization to work (like a passport and Social Security card). The employer can inspect these documents themselves. E-Verify: This is an optional program some employers use to electronically verify your I-9 information with government databases. If your employer uses E-Verify, they'll need your Social Security number to submit the information. E-Verify simply confirms if your information matches government records, it doesn't guarantee employment. So, filling out an I-9 doesn't automatically mean E-Verify is used. The employer will tell you if they use E-Verify during the hiring process. Here are some resources for more info: I-9 info: www.uscis.gov/i-9) E-Verify info: www.e-verify.gov/)

    I am applying on behalf of my mom for I-539 for her b2 extension to attend my son’s graduation . Should I use I-539A ? Applying online so how can I submit her signature ? TIA

    • @VisaPrime
      @VisaPrime 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Absolutely, Form I-539 is the correct application for extending your mom's B-2 visa to attend your son's graduation. For the I-539A supplement: If your mom is the only applicant, you won't need I-539A. If there are other dependents applying with her (like your spouse or children on her B-2 visa), then you'll need a separate I-539A for each dependent. Since you're applying online: Unfortunately, USCIS doesn't accept electronic signatures yet for Form I-539. Here's what you can do: Print out the completed application after filling it out online. Have your mom sign the printed application physically. Mail the signed application along with any supporting documents to USCIS. USCIS recommends filing for an extension at least 45 days before your mom's current authorized stay expires. Here are some resources that you might find helpful: USCIS webpage on Form I-539: [USCIS I-539 application ON United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (.gov) uscis.gov] Instructions for Form I-539A: [USCIS form I-539a ON United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (.gov) uscis.gov]

    Is the Mailing Address in part 4 also the address abroad, even if I'm currently in the US?

    • @VisaPrime
      @VisaPrime 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Whether the mailing address in part 4 of the USCIS Form I-140 is also the address abroad depends on your situation: If you are currently in the US: If you selected "Alien is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of lawful permanent resident" in Part 4: Then you should leave Part 4 blank. You don't need to provide an address abroad in this case. If you selected "Alien will apply for a visa abroad at a U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate" in Part 4: Then you should NOT use the US address you provided in Part 3. Instead, you need to fill in Part 4 Item 3 with your foreign address, including street number and name, city/town, province, country, and postal code. This is the address where you will receive any communication from the US embassy or consulate about your visa application. If you are not currently in the US: Use the address abroad in both Part 3 and Part 4 Item 3, even if you plan to travel to the US soon.

    THis is interesting but the video doesn't address how to fill part 6 if you are self-petitioning without a job offer for EB1A or NIW

    • @VisaPrime
      @VisaPrime 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Here's how to fill out Part 6 of Form I-140 for self-petitioning without a job offer under EB1A or NIW: 1. Job Title: EB1A: Indicate a title that accurately reflects your extraordinary ability (e.g., "Research Scientist in Artificial Intelligence," "Internationally Acclaimed Concert Pianist"). NIW: Provide a title that aligns with your field of expertise and intended work in the U.S. (e.g., "Biomedical Engineer," "Environmental Scientist"). 2. SOC Code: While not mandatory for self-petitions, it's helpful to find the most relevant Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics website (www.bls.gov/soc/). 3. Employer Name: Enter "Self-Petitioner." 4. Address: Provide your current physical address. 5. Employer's Business or Organization Type: Choose "Individual" or "Other." 6. Employer's Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN): Leave this blank. 7. Section of Law: EB1A: Indicate "E11." NIW: Indicate "E21." Key Considerations: Accuracy: Ensure all information is correct and consistent with supporting documents. Specificity: Provide clear and detailed job titles and descriptions. Alignment: Demonstrate how your work aligns with the EB1A or NIW criteria. USCIS Guidance: Refer to the I-140 instructions for the latest guidance. Additional Tips: Consult an Immigration Attorney: Seeking professional guidance is highly recommended to ensure proper completion and avoid potential errors or delays. Review Thoroughly: Double-check all information before submitting. Maintain Copies: Keep copies of all forms and supporting documents for your records.

    How can I submit the completed i-140 form online or an email address for electronic mailing

    • @VisaPrime
      @VisaPrime 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, you can submit the completed Form I-140 electronically through the USCIS Electronic Immigration System (ELIS). This is the preferred method of filing as it's faster, more accurate, and allows you to track the status of your petition online. Here's how to file Form I-140 online: Create an account: If you don't already have one, create a USCIS online account. Start a new application: Choose "Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker" as the form you want to file. Complete the form electronically: Follow the instructions and answer all the questions carefully. Upload supporting documentation: Scan and upload all required supporting documents electronically. Pay the filing fee: You can pay the filing fee online using a credit card, debit card, or electronic funds transfer (EFT). Submit your application: Once you have completed all the steps, review your application and submit it. Benefits of filing online: Easier to complete and submit Fewer errors Faster processing times Real-time status updates Secure storage of your application and documents Submitting Form I-140 by Email Unfortunately, you cannot submit Form I-140 by email. USCIS does not accept any immigration forms via email. You can only submit the form online through ELIS or by mailing it to the appropriate USCIS lockbox facility. Additional Resources: USCIS I-140 page: www.uscis.gov/i-140 USCIS ELIS filing guide: www.uscis.gov/i-130 Direct Filing Addresses for Form I-140: www.uscis.gov/forms/all-forms/direct-filing-addresses-for-form-i-140-immigrant-petition-for-alien-worker Please remember that submitting the correct form and following the specific instructions carefully is crucial for a successful application. I received a job offer from an institution in America, and it contains the I-9 Form, which I am supposed to fill out and send today. The problem is that this paper contains mandatory fields for the address in America, and I do not reside there. I tried to contact the company there, but they don't respond to my e-mail because today is Saturday mostly. Does anyone have information about this story?

    • @VisaPrime
      @VisaPrime ปีที่แล้ว

      Please fill it out and send it to the company with your own address. they know that you do not reside in the USA, right? So, they will take care of it later.
