I’m so happy for you to be at this point of feeling done with surgeries & treatments and ready to move on with life! You deserve every good day that is to come, and your videos are wonderful. I had SGAP reconstruction last week, and my first follow-up appointment with my surgeon is tomorrow. I’m feeling so grateful also, and very happy to be rid of the painful, uncomfortable tissue expanders that I had for 16 months. Best wishes to you and I hope to keep following your story, and hope that whatever medication you are on to help prevent recurrence is tolerable. (you might have said Tamoxifen; my post surgery brain is a sieve)

Did you spend the night at hospital? That’s one thing I am unsure about for Phase 2

It was in 2021,i had my first cycle of IVF then i found this video as I was googling and researching on IVF, I watched it crying yes, literally crying 2024 i now have an 11 month old handsome baby boy(Thanking God) in my third cycle I watch this and i still cry I still pray for all undergoing IVF journey, i know its hard, very hard but never give up. God will perform a miracle in your life in the right time. God knows the best

IM A CANCER SURVIVOR AND DIDNT DO A RECONSTRUCTION AT THE TIME OF MY SIMPLE MASTECTOMY NOW IM SO SCARED TO GET IT DONE.

How long did it take you for recovery. I got mine done two weeks ago and drains just removed. Top of my chest has a sensitive to touch. Wondering if anyone had that. I want to go back to my normal routine but realized I have to work my way back into it. I haven’t started physical therapy yet and trying to do more than rest. I’m not used to this. No chemo or radiation therapy needed and I thank God everything happened on time.

You are such a strong person❤️ I have ILC left breast going for double mastectomy Aug 20th. They will take lymph nodes and check. Do not sure after that. I will be have flap surgery instead of implants. Very nervous very emotional

I would recommend you get a copper IUD to prevent pregnancy. It is non hormonal and 99% effective like the pill.

Plz pray for me am 5dsys past embryo transfer sharp shooting pain on my left at time right and today mild cramping sensation 🙏

I am currently recovering from my DIEP flap. The 1st few days, my abdominal pain was excruciating. Chest does not bother me. It hurt but the abdomen was awful to the point of tears. Now POD #6, things are getting a little better. But it was more than I expected.

There was little mention of pain. Was it truly manageable?

How did you keep your up drain area dry?

Thank you for sharing, I’m having a double mastectomy in one week. They’ll take my sentinel lymph nodes one on each side, my plastic surgeon said. I also have non Hodgkin’s lymphoma they found. Watching your video has helped me !

I’m on day 5 postop and feel I’ve been hit by a truck. Yes, very glad to be home! I’ve got a wound vac on lower abdomen and 4 drains. Thanks for making a delayed DIEP video-I went flat right after dmx due to Covid.

I’ve watched all the vids in one day because my daughter has found a breast lump which will be biopsied next month - June 2024 - and just in case it is cancer I’m trying to find out as much as I can for her. Thank you for sharing. I’m having my DIEP flap surgery on July 9. A nurse that comes into our salon told me that this surgery is a super painful recovery. I’m already a little worried about the amount of pain anyway. Well I don’t want implants so like you stressed to stay up on the pain medicine. Thank you again for sharing. Xo Jeanette
