This just so - touching! I was in a seminar with him in Stockholm in maybe 1980-82, in Matteus church (good organ) . He was so inspiring, so it became a lot of Bach organ music after that, however, I never became organist. But organ music lover. Have his vinyl records still.

9:13/9:14 the bow starts to shake... I wonder why. The bow might not be so great. Lozakovich has all the technique in the world to make his violin and bow work just fine :) I loved his Chaconne [excerpt].

Thank you so much for posting🙏 Been hoping for this since April 2023! It is my decision to go to as many of his performances as possible while I am still able to travel. To me, he plays the pieces and make us understand the pieces and dream of that other world whereas other playings are just playing.

when I was a child in the early 70s, Leister was my inspiration. I later studied clarinet at the music college. Frustrated, I stopped because I was convinced I would never reach Leister. So I became an engineer. Till now I‘m following his sound.

A sensitive soul, who gives so much beauty to all his listeners. A very great musician. Listening to Herr Leister, one wishes that those precious moments would last forever.
