5-minute ride of tube waterslide at Escape Penang.

I run an LGB Stainz starter set running on DIY stainless steel groovy tracks. This loop is roughly 55 meters in length.

Trying out Shanghai's Maglev line from Pudong to LongYang. It's blazingly fast at 430km/hr, literally making cars on highways look like they're standing still.

Boarding the train. Sure it is not as flashy and polished as Shinkansen, TGV, ICE, and Eurostar, but the scale of the infrastructure is unmatched. It goes just as fast.

Basically the same tracks with slight modifications. This time with rear view camera.

First run at on a completed loop with garden features such as potted plants, tunnels, pond, waterfall. The tracks are still the same 6000mmX20mmX3mm stainless steel flat bars tied together by grooved UPVC ties. The ballast is basically from your off the shelf gravel.

Garden train DIY tracks trial run with a little bit of props. Tracks are made using 20mmx3mmx6000mm stainless steel flat bars with grooved uPVC pipes as ties. On going project includes incorporating curved grades, multi tiered elevated tracks, bridges over pond, tunnels, and proper ballasting.

My first LGB on DIY groovy tracks. This is the first test to see how workable the idea of using stainless steel flat bar is. So far so good. 6-meter flat bars are reasonably workable around the bends, without using any tools. With proper foundation, some sections can be bolted to improve rigidity.
