Meet Avriana, from Future Arts Workers of Worcester
Thank you to The Hanover Insurance Group Foundation, United Way of Central Massachusetts, the Hermann Foundation, the Clementi Family Charitable Trust, and Greater Worcester Community Foundation for their incredible support of our first year of Future Arts Workers!
Future Arts Workers of Worcester (FAWW) is ArtsWorcester's arts administration apprenticeship with Worcester Public School students. This program provides hands-on experience, professional connections, and essential skills for future art-related careers. Along the way, students explore professional pathways in arts administration, build a diverse community of young talent, and enhance their credentials for college applications and future employment. The program culminates with students executing their own exhibition using the skills they've learned.
Meet Avriana, one of this year's Future Arts Workers of Worcester. Like many high school students, Avriana notes that she has struggled when it comes to identifying what area to focus on following graduation. Future Arts Workers has been helpful in giving her clarity, allowing her to learn more about varying aspects of art administration.
