Why does the video feel like it's from 2009

It's really impressive and good! The only problem is that there's already a mod in GMod, called G64 which adds Mario from Mario 64 using the decompilation project. Which is probs way better since it has in-built animation, caps and coins placers, and you can play any maps in the game including gm_construct and can even fight NPCs with this! The only bad side is that GMod is a paid game while this is completely free.
