In the past, I always used the excuse that I was afraid of speaking in front of a crowd, so I couldn't continue making videos. But the truth is I was too lazy so I found an excuse for myself. But that will never happen again! Hope you guys don't be like me and be strong to pursue your own dreams.

I mean, I don’t know why sellers inside the Ben Than market seems so rude. Bargaining should be healthy and that if the price can no longer be lowered down to what the tourist would want to pay, the seller shouldn’t be rude towards them. 😆 I was there this morning and I got pissed off when she dragged me and ask me how much I can pay. I told politely that I can only pay for 50k each of the basic shirt with Vietnam printed on it. And I gladly wanna buy 10pcs. But she can’t negotiate lower than 80. The other seller even lowered it to 60. I then politely said, I can’t go on with 80. 50-60 would be good. But she said no. I even politely said “thank you” to end bargaining and walk away as I wanna go back to my room. But she got mad and said, I’m a man, I asked her for the price. But then I walk away. And that rude according to her. I shouldn’t be the likes to respond but d*mn it’s so hot in there and all I wanna do is moved on and be in my room. But I snapped “I didn’t ask you for the price. You dragged me there and we kind of negotiate into something that aren’t working. And there’s no reason for me to stay. But I did not asked you or anything.” Then I walk out. The last one is just so rude of me, I must admit. But I will definitely be back again. I love the foods here😊

I really enjoyed this one :) Love the vibe of the video and your voice over - as you asked me for input to improve (to anyone reading my comment: I dont usually give feedback on other peoples videos but Tuan Bui asked me for a review 😀) 1. Your Voice Over seems not to be centered, I only hear it on my left speaker, 2. there is a flash frame around 1:40mins, one around 2:06mins and one at 2:39mins.3. Your Voice could be a bit louder. I was extra accurate with the video in this case because I used to do a lot of technical quality control for TV and cinema. Overall besides the whole message of your video I loved the color grading and the texts. Keep up the great work! This was a beautiful video.

Hi, Tuan! I’ll share my thoughts with you. The best piece of advice I can offer is to keep making videos as that’s the only way to improve, but you might want to hear something more in depth. First, what could be better? I think a voice over would help to tell the story better even if you would only speak Viatnemese and add subtitles. I watched a few vlogs from Japan where the videos are in English, but when talking with natives the author of the video speaks Japanese and adds subtitles to it. I understand you may be shy, it’s corageous of you to record videos and overcoming fear, this is only a suggestion. Regarding the subtitles, I suggest using the TH-cam built in tool to add them instead of burning them into the video given you would do a voice over. Using them for important details such as names of place, dates and other things is reasonable, but it can become distracting when you overuse them. At times I felt like the clips didn’t follow each other too well, but for the most part you did well and told the story, well done! I hope you found this helpful, I’m really proud of you for getting started and I understand that you’re only at the start and have a long way to go just like me and many other people. Honestly, getting started is the hardest thing, as long as you build consistency and learn from each video to make the next one a tiny bit better, you will keep improving and walk further than you ever thought you would. Carry on working hard and thank you for letting me know about the Phu Guy island (love the scene of you looking at the scenery)!!

Your tips are great but it was difficult to understand your English. Typing on the video was very helpful because it helped me to understand you. When your English gets better, you will have more views. My advice…….watch American movies and repeat aloud what you hear., this will help your English get better.

Well… I feel the same as you but you are aware of your mistakes. As a man I learnt that nobody cares about men… as a man you are always alone. Empathy, understanding, tenderness are only for women, small children and baby animals. When there is a war the news only mentions about women and children dying… but nobody cares about men dying. I learnt that even friends will go away one day, we only have ourselves to fight one more day. I love Vietnam and life there with some money can be great. As a man the most important thing is to succeed financially because without money nobody respects a man. It is good that you are aware of your mistakes. I will be in Vietnam soon. I am most of the time alone, hahaha loneliness keeps me company.

It is illegal to drive a motobike in Vietnam unless you have a TRC or work permit. You will need one or the other to obtain a Vietnam license. This is a new law as of Oct. 2023. To get either, you must also have Vietnam health insurance and moto insurance. NO visitors or tourists can drive a motobike in Vietnam. International licenses do not work and not accepted in Vietnam. A 50 cc moto is ok for visitors.

Currently just did northwest Vietnam and the scenery was beautiful. Now I’m going a short distance to sapa from Lai Chau to spend two nights of needed rest. Waiting for the weather to turn around on Tuesday before I travel ha giang. Good video!
