Does this work on mac ? I downloaded it from your website but when I open the file and try to click on the first one “mikes easy bmw tools installer” nothing opens.

Just curious how to get e84 which is a 2015 x1. I swapped the transfercase controller/actuator and I believe it needs to be programed but I do not see the E84. Also thank you so much for this!

Seems like a dumb question but can I use this downloadable ZIP file and the ISTA install to adjust/reset my electronic wastegate actuator on n55 335i 2015?

Dude imma head butt mine soon . Did dpf.. new sensor etc..... all went good dod flush reset dpf inpa all that crap.. some shits decided to try brake in basically right after that.. that night .. soo had to take locks out replslacd them.... So the habdle was out under cover... Family decided tot take down the awning which flooded the door and then they realised and out a plastic bag in the door.. which grenhoused it . Didnt know.... Started the car . And boom stopped working.. been trying for 6 montsh to fine someone ... Or a 2nd hand one as the interface xbus thing is like 2k... But due to right to repair youd think id be able to find someone.. and not learn german and portugese to try lol.. im no stranger to this im smash repairer and what not...

Mine says “The module mscomctl.ocx failed to load” Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent . DLL files.” The specified module could not be found

hey, i bought the software from another website, it has many of the same programs, if not all. i have ista and inpa installed, but i cannot get my cable to work. its a Pro K+DCAN cable from bimmergeeks. i have installed your software aswell now, but cannot get inpa to show green on Battery.

This video is a god send still thank you for explaining this to me. I am able ot wrench on my bimmer but installing the soft ware was way over my head without help thank you

I've been trying to configure ISTA but I'm having a hard time, can you please make a video covering how to get ISTA started. I've downloaded the 92GB file on an external hard drive and ran the installer not sure what to do after that but it's not allowing me to use a lot of options on the app

I installed ISTA but it wont let me select or change any settings such as set up ediabas interface type, or run tests. How do i set this up in order to use it fully?

At the 15:20 mark, don't forget the daten files come down as ZIP files (compressed); they will need to be extracted to your desired folder before you click on "Select SP Source."

This worked great the first time. I had to get a new computer and now can’t get the coding tool to accept the Daten files. Keeps saying they are not valid daten files. Stumped

N53 too. A lot of people and webpages seem to forget about the non turbo N53 that has the same injectors.

Your tutorial is fantastic. Thanks very much for taking the time to post it. I followed your instructions. Set it all up on my laptop, plugged it in using the enet cable to my 2018 530e and voila! Diagnostics, programming, error codes .... everything a DIYer could ever want. The enet cable was like $25, a new 2TB hard drive was $100. Identified a faulty park distance sensor. Found a BMW new sensor online for $35. Total cost to me $160 vs probably $750 if I went to the dealer. Kudos & thanks again

Hello and thank you for all this work you have done creating this! I have a 2013 750Li xDrive f02 body n63Tu engine. I had heard you say that the ista is better for the newer F models. I have only seen people using ista d and ista p where i think ista d is for diagnostics and wiring diagrams and ista p is for programming. Does the ista version you have on your site/files include ista d and ista p? Or just ista d? do you think the inpa will be suffice for the 7 series? I am a retired foreign car mechanic of 15 years now working in R&D building CNC machines but i do all the work on my car and a couple of my friends Bmw’s, mainly a 2013 Bmw x5 E70 and a 2013 bmw X3 f25. I have spent the better part of $2,000 on 3 different scan tools that are bidirectional and read multiple modules as well as injector coding on one of them but still nothing like ista or what you have here. I have been wanting for a long time to have a dealer level scan tool for my cars. What would you recommend i use for the 3 2013 models i listed? mainly the 7 series f02 and my wife’s car is the x5 e70. my best friend has the x3 f25. Sorry for the super long text and thanks again. I watched the whole video and am looking forward to using your setup as soon as my new laptop comes. I have the k can cable with ethernet to DLC where i soldered the jumper between the two pins. I Think 15 to 3. I forget the exact 2 pins but is this the correct cable for your setup here? Thanks again!!
