I've never actually heard of a mood board before. I've made a pinterest board, but that was more focussed on locations and characters, nothing that's there specifically for mood, vibes or motivation. No lyrics of emotions or anything like that. Thanks for this video! This is such a brilliant idea. ☺

I keep coming up with new ideas for new novels I want to write and I keep needing to remind myself to finish my current project before I start work on something else. 😝 I think its SO mature that you want to hold back on the novel that contains issues of DV until you're older because you want to do the subject matter justice. Honestly, the fact that you recognise how seriously the subject matter needs to be taken suggests that you're probably ready and mature enough to write it now... That said it does look like you've got your hands full with a million other ideas at the moment, so it'll probably take a few years until you've gotten all the other books out of the way anyway. ☺

That's so interesting. I get ideas from all kinds of places but I don't think I ever get ideas for writing by listening to music. Its so cool how different writers get inspiration from completely different places. ☺

Awh! But I love the Grimm fairy tales! ... That said, ancient German mythology is great too. The ring of Nibelung is a really epic story. (I think The Lord of the Rings might have been very loosely based on it.) 😊

So glad you decided on giving the side characters arcs too. I always end up liking one of the side characters more than I like the main character, so watching them grow and develop makes me appreciate them even more. I am definitely participating in Preptober and I am also doing a Preptober vlog where I try to follow along with all the vlog outline while I go. Working on character prep right now and only just realised that I didn't include character arcs as part of my prep work... I mean, they definitely have arcs, but I haven't done any kind of planning to that. I am now going to adapt my character sheets to include character arcs, so... Thank you! 😊

I do love ancient folklore of all kinds, and it's nice to hear that you're working with German folklore. Between all the Greek, Norse and Egyptian mythology, German folklore is severely underrated. fr I had so many plot holes and i was stuck at one part (especially cuz my mc just didn't feel like they were important for the plot) and my brain randomly went "just change the pov to another character, to distract yourself from the main plot." Well, now my old mc's are side characters and i have the most badass mc ever
