Connan Mockasin - Caramel (Extended) Aqua Jogging version
This is a song called Caramel from the album Caramel by Connan Mockasin. This is not the official video, yet it's very likely that Connan thought of this particular man while recording the song.

Lyrics for "how long?"
A total fucking genius
Absofuckinglutely
Te amo justin vernon, your music was a serious revelation for me when I f ound it for the first time
2023… still here, melancholic since the first day, but my beers are my friends tonight
Stay strong king x
Ring it out, most underrated Justin Vernon song ever?! I can't get over that melody
Agree 1000% Such a clever way of turning that phrase over and over and finding new meaning each time.
agreed <3 and the gatsby song.. wow
Got a slight Counting Crows flavour
To the world he may be Bon Iver, he'll always remain Justin to me. The kid who came and put his heart and soul in his records. Magnificent
Return To You is basically an earlier version of Re:Stacks.
You gotta love this, and thank the world that this beauty exists.
Hearing this for the first time. So many emotions, such great talent. Justin is Midas.
Se que asi se escucha el cielo
there he is.
I bet he was influenced by Mickey Newberry and Crosby, Still, Nash and Young.
Hands down my favorite work of yours Mr. Vernon. Thank you for blessing us all with these gems. Your music has truly gotten me thru many phases of life. Rock on !
Maybe someone asked this question already, but is there any other source where I could buy this record - either as s digital download or physically?🤍
Such a beautiful album. crazy how "Sides" turned into 'exile' with Taylor Swift so many years later
This is crazy! Music never lies. I was confusing his voice with Bruce Springsteen and, all of a sudden, he started singing Bruce's song?! Oh my God! This shit hit me so hard that happy tears started falling from my eyes... Damn! This cat is full of many beautiful inspirations and influences. His album 'home is' is so BLUES, with talks about Robert Johnson, Louis Armstrong, etc; HIP HOP, with the Jurassic5 and others... A real musician! I'm deeply in love with him... Please, use good headphones or speakers to enjoy it all amazingly!

this makes me feel ok
This album is just… so comforting. It feels personal, relaxed. It feels like taking a guitar while camping, the sunset going down, accompanied by close friends, cigarette and a smile. I love this.
i would kill for a vinyl of this.. justin your music is beautiful.
The trombone in the last track is amazing.
Every so often I come back to this album. Whipgrass just touches me in a way that makes me feel like I’m a kid again. Justin has a certain magic to his music that nobody can replicate. Wish I could talk to him about this work!
Exactly the same to me!
don't talk about what you don't know!
Is it just me, or do I hear elements of 21 Moonwater on "The Orient and the Gatsby's Slew of Choices" ...some of the background broken/looped vocal sounds...??
Also tributary is sooo similar to 666

Not sure how I got here, but I'm here now 🙏🏽
yeah I'm here too... How's it going Ruben?
@@agricultures pretty good lol
@@rubenbarrera7338 man... I've been here for ten days.. you still going too?
went with the nine inch nails TDS era type face. a good choice.
Im pretty sure this dude just plays the song and slaps it on the record after the first take
This is a great album!
I have a signed hard copy of this and we went to see vernon play these songs at the house of rock in ec (2005 i think). he's an even better dude than he is a musician (hard to imagine, but true)
@@fergz9 Man thats awesome! I would love to have seen him live then, and had a chat with him. Did you meet him and talk at the gig?
If I’m not mistaken it was around 2011/2012 that I remember finding the songs on this album scattered ambiguously all over TH-cam. This was around the time Justin was starting to go a bit mainstream, having just been nominated for an Emmy for Bon Iver (album). Back then, each time I “stumbled” onto one of the songs on this album I thought I struck gold. Indeed, We Will Never Die is perhaps one of the most impactful songs of my adult life. I immigrated to the US 10 years ago and through all the highs and lows, this song has been a constant companion, acting as a source of purpose and fulfillment. Thank you so much for aggregating all the songs of this album in one place.
One love bro! Wishing you the best!
❤
Return to you might be my favorite
I'll appreciate it if someone gives me the list of songs in this album, and the respective time stamp of each track. ☺️
Check the description!
GREAT.....!!!!!!!!!
I love all of you for loving this. Justin Vernon is the man
