The sound the engine makes has no effect on an aircraft's stealth. Stealth reduces radar signitures to make getting a fire solution harder on the enemy fighter. Stealth does not mean invisible to radar, rather it allows the aircraft to get closer without detection to get an accurate lock and deny the enemy a fire solution.
