    They don't promote violence and will show you a few tricks just enough to prevent being attacked. They show you the graceful exercise and defensive movements, and the energy and power of the waist and legs that come from training. Any pugilistic art can be used to cause injuries to someone. It is up to the practising artist whether to use it to hurt or defend or just to stay healthy

      Tarja Linna Thank you for the insights. I tried to read Tao Te ching (the French translation because I’m French) and it is very difficulté to understand or interpretate. Some Time It is like reading old poetry or old religious text. But I do not give up. My chi gong master teaches me smal bits of Taoïsme.

    • @chinajoe2008

      Laozi's "Tao Te Ching" is a good start and Zhuangzi (who followed Laozi) is often very amusing and reinforces our need be 'with/within' nature. You can download both on TH-cam. Zhuangxi's work you can find if you search "Musings of a Daoist Mystic". If you want to become a true Daoist you will need to renunciate all worldly desires. Go to Google, search "Wudang Daoist Monastery" - they have a comprehensive website. I am from Australia & live in Wuhan, Hubei. Wudang Mountain is in north-eastern Hubei Province. The abbot of the monastery is Yi Shifu (master Yi). I am going there when I can leave Wuhan; the coronavirus is almost cleared up here. Good luck! Peace be with you...

    • @chinajoe2008
      @chinajoe2008 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@icemanesmalla You cannot understand the 'Dao de Jing' intellectually, it can only be understood by following your intuition (follow your heart, not your brain). The Ancient Daoist masters used a lot of metaphors, Zhuangzi ('Writings of a Chinese Mystic') was a complex and humorous man - prone to exaggeration and fairytale, but if you look deep enough you will find his meaning, and it is PROFOUND!! Open your heart, trust it, and forget about your brain; your heart has no ego, just truth :)

    Shock the conception of governing vessels? 🤔

    • @snakecharmer1542
      @snakecharmer1542 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Let me guess. Please someone correct if I am wrong, I don't speak Mandarin. Collect the Qi by breathing in deeply, hold you breath with the tongue still up the pallet, and slowly bring the Qi to the dantian by lowering both hands down to the stomach at the same time breathing out with the tongue leaving the pallet. This will shock the vessel caring the Qi circulation through the meridians to the top of the body and down in a circular motion.

    respect to the ancient architects and craftsmen who built the temples, stairs and stone ornaments. Kung Fu survived but I wished the stone building tradition also survived. I hate modern building methods. Today's chinese cities buildings are a disaster to the eye and the esthetic. Worst of them Shanghai.

      @Gérard Menvusa Oui vous avez exactement raison et de plus en plus de gens en sont conscient mondialement. Leur parasitage des médias, des professions libérales, leurs lois scélérates qui interdisent de parler d'eux en France et le prêt à l'usure que pratiquent leurs banques qui impriment les billets sous leurs ordres commandés depuis leur nid à new york à la Fed doivent cesser et être reconquis par les nations. Ils ont monté un coup aux élections présidentielle américaine en trichant par l'intermédiaire de la CIA corrompue certainement réalisent-ils que trump à adroitement éveillé les nations sur leur emprise satanique sur le monde depuis le matraquage et le lavage de cerveau médiatique continu depuis 20-30 ans. Les jeunes générations sont nés dans le lavage de cerveau et ne s'en rende pas compte. Je pense que nous ne sommes plus très loins de quelques chose de grand. Si les nations se réveillent et commencent à les pointer du doigt en osant les nommer (ce qui n'arrivera pas en France car c'est un des pays les plus infiltré et lobotomisé) les choses vont s'accélérer. Je prédit que ces parasites vont lancer une guerre mondiale contre un bouc émissaire comme l'Iran pour échapper à la monté du populisme et des nations contre eux. Bien sur que Micron et un petit boufon à leur ordres, il a été formaté chez rotschild à londre. Cette pseudo élite sait que si elle arrive à taire et faire disparaitre les générations plus vieilles qui ont encore connu un espace médiatique relativement libre, ce sera plus facile de controler les millénials et les flocons de neiges qui sont completement lobotomisé. Le plus important et de ne plus écouter leur média et de suivre des source d'information complétement indépendentes. Ce qui n'est pas facile pour les francophones. Seul les anglophones peuvent y accéder. La situation est grave.

    I like the variation of this 'Wudang" movement but some of it just seems made up. I can understand Wudang taijiquan but to have wudang zhaobao, wudang michuan, etc I am beginning to wonder about the underlying attempt to re-brand stylel under the wudang name, which quite frankly, is bogus. There is no doubt that wudang look nice, good and friendly to the foreign audience, as it should to be packaged for such acceptance. Again, I like the Wudang movement.

    • @Long_Wei
      @Long_Wei 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Yaz Reggae "mi chuan" simply means secret/hidden lineage, it doesn't refer to yang's mi chuan style. But I too am quite skeptical about the forms they are teaching. It is clear that their xingyi and bagua come from elsewhere (they teach jiang style bagua and zhang zhaodong's xingyi bagua, for example), but this taiji form seems quite unique. I've been wondering about its origin for a long time.
