I’ve had this happen hunting my friend’s woods. The barn cat always gets my first squirrel every year. I was sad that this year he passed away at 18 years old. He always follows me out the first day. So I asked the owner where he was and he told me he found him dead on his favorite porch chair a few weeks ago. Broke my heart. He was also a black cat. They took great care of him as their barn cat. He was neutered and always was up to date on his shots. I attribute that to his long life.

I do a lot of squirrel hunting in Arkansas. Have you ever heard of the World Champion Squirrel Cook Off? I just found out about it. It was on Sept 7th last year.

My dog stole my first squirrel of this year, hope she was happy with it.

FYI, they have iPhone mics now that are wireless that work great if that is what you are using to video so you song sound like in a hole

Those arrows are .500 spine and are too weak for 70# at drawlengths over 26". Full length, they also weight 530 grains.

The selinda arrows are trash, better off going with a better arrow. But the bow is a good budget

Seriously dont trust some "pro" review saying bad or cheap to the sanlida x8 bow. It is cheap but the quality is good. I was national archers when i was young trust me this sanlida product is good product you gonna satisfy with the results. As you can see many national teams using this brand for world champion archery competition

This is crazy man, I literally just bought this same bow today for the same reasons as you described in your intro. I grew up hunting, but never had a chance to get into the bowhunting side of it. I've been wanting to give it a try for a couple years now and it really hit a peak this year. Somehow the YT algorithm decided to start spamming me with videos about this bow a few days ago and I jumped on it. Should be here in a couple days, and I leave for my week of hunting in Virginia just before thanksgiving! Hoping I can get it tuned before then and maybe even hunt a few days with it as well. Glad to see your review and looking forward to mine!

Seen a shop review this bow and they gave it a good one. Only issue was how flimsy the arrows where in the package to the point he was afraid to shoot them
