They are scared. I’m a network engineer. Just recently switched over to a cloud dev ops engineer role. I love using AI but it is nothing to be afraid of. Plus it’s so many high paying sectors in IT. In my on-premise networking roles. I have worked on different networks/domains that pay well and they are extremely slow to adopt any of the tech that came out in the last 15 years because a lot of this stuff is not secure and proven enough for their needs. Then u have tons of hybrid architectures as well. Most Software developers have tunnel vision if u ask me.

If you dont have 2 years in resume - that's skip by HR. That's really problem for begginers to find first job. About typical Russian interview: writing algorithms, some questions about java (concurrency, collections, generics...) questions about spring (bean lifecycle, bean scopes, annotation transactional (they really like this question, want listen about proxy)). Also practical tasks with microservices: for example, how to transfer large data from one system to another, how to implement distributed transaction (hello kafka, saga pattern)

I wouldn't take an AI's answer as 100% factual. Yes, they can be helpful but in many cases they are wrong or are trained with outdated information from years ago. In terms of spring mvc gateway, the answer that gemini gave is wrong. The current spring mvc gateway has been recently added along with spring boot 3.2+ and is actively maintained with new features and bugs fixes which you can find on their official github repository. My assumption with Gemini's response from the video is that it was most likely trained with older data where an older version of spring mvc gateway existed and was deprecated.
