One sample t confidence interval for a mean using TI-84- Internet Cost Example
มุมมอง 2K5 ปีที่แล้ว
This video walks through a simple t-interval example using the TI-84 calculator. It shows how to calculate and interpret a 95% confidence interval for a mean when the population standard deviation is unknown. In other words, this is an example of a one sample t interval completed using the TI-84.

Cheer~~~remaining after the greater part or quantity has gone.😊
Last night before the test😅
Finally an explanation of this formula of r not the other one. Thanks!
Thank you
Superb explanation
Thank you, but your going a little too fast.
8 years. Would you have guessed that this video would help someone 8 years after originally posting this video. Not just helping, but SAVING my grade in stats. Thank you Mrs. Katie Ann Jager
Same! Hope your test went well!
good explanation,thanks
Excelent video Katie ! Thank you!
I had 0.775485
Sc^2 = 0.016, not 0.16
U EXPLAINED IT SO WELL IF I LIKE WENT BACK AND LISTENED AGAIN THANK UUU
great work madam
simple and quick and sweet
thank you sm katie
Show the workkkkkkk 😩
doubt of 3 moths solved in minutes. Thanks a lot mam
What do I do if df =6 and t score is 0.404
به نظر من این احتمال یک چهارم است
Hi could i know where you got the question from? planning to do similar ones. Thank youu
This video helped me figure out a problem I had been stuck on for 3 days, thanks guys!!!😊
Thanks a million! That's the super easy method to find p-value easily using t-distribution table Again Thanks a Billion!
Solve for Sx and Sy to fully understand the problem.
how you got 0.949 ? please tell me
please help me why k=1
k, means a numbe of independent variables in the equation, the equation is simple linear regression and there is only one value of x
How do we calculate the S value when it's not given? Edit: Anyway I use matrices now.
Wow! This was really straight forward and easy to understand. A huge help. Thanks.
good explanation

What about if my subgroup size varies from n=8 to n=35?
Eren Jeager
Thank you 🙏
Not a good demonstration. You need to explain what to calculate.
which book did you use it for equation?
Straight and to the point, Not a lot of hoopla or mumbo jumbo!!
is it possible to get the grand mean with just the values in the given ANOVA table?
expect the slope test b1 = x without
Oh my god thank you so much, I've been watching video after video and they would never explain just how to get it on a table, absolute life saver.
Brilliant... Thanks!
Great and helpful video, but I have a question which is for prediction interval and confidence interval which one is good to use?
thanks
Mam, how to change significance level, you just explained for 95% only, how to do 85% prediction, confidence level
So a few things: 1) I think that I'm writing this comment a little too late for you so sorry. 2) The significance level was 0.05 not 0.95. The confidence level was 95%. I understand this is just a matter of semantics. 3) In English, "Mam" is actually spelled Ma'am. I know that its weird and it took me a while to learn that myself but I think the word origin is French. 4) To do an 85% prediction for a confidence level it would look something like this: predict(mod, data.frame(x=13), interval = "confidence", conf.level = 0.85)
Oh my thank you so much lol
Hi, I have a question. Would it be possible to also plot the CI for the slope on the same graph? I am unsure on how to do this. Thank you
I guess in the first one there’s a typo but in the second one you forgot to multiply the intersection with the p that B is not working. That’s going by the Bayes Theorem.
Great, concise explanation
why we use aggregate command?
THANK YOU THIS WAS SO HELPFUL
YOU ARE AN ANGEL! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
thank you
