Dragster Full Tune by Madd Maxx Tuning & Performance
Tuning a dragster is a requirement. Sometimes, a serious tuning is MORE required. Madd Maxx delivers. Madd Maxx tunes a variety of vehicles, and can make house calls. I go over some regular timing, NOS timing, rotor phase, and checking plugs after hard pulls.
The owner of Madd Maxx is Neil Swafford. Been in business for decades! Business is located in Paris TX. While he works for Precision Auto M-F during the day, he will spend all of his nights and weekends to help others via Madd Maxx.
The owner of Swaff Shots is Aaron Swafford. Very good photography work from his agile eye! I took some of his work for this video because he is a great photographer, and has been extremely nice to me.

      @RoadOdyssey 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I have only done and recall the trans filter change on my C8 Z06 from recent. I have video on that just a few weeks back. It was stupid simple. A couple of years back I took my prior 2020 C8 Stingray to LG Motorsports and added the 2 quarts. That was a bit of a chore when going from the top. I had some information in that video. That’s all I experienced so far.

      Original- body, body trim, rear glass, rear light lenses, seat frames, dash. That’s about it. It’s a ton of money. Completely new hand built car pretty much. Yes. The hot rod shop did even more to protect the battery so it is better now. It has been a wild roller coaster of a journey. Thanks for watching 🙏🙏🙏

    Beautiful custom work. Another big money area for restorations. Even as much as body and paint costs as I've found out. I would love to have custom interior in our Mustang and C10 like some of those, but it just wont happen. When you move to this level, your vehicle moves to more show then driven regularly. Been there and done that and lost the enjoyment of ownership because of it. Would love to find a happy medium but knowing my experience, I can't seem to stop myself once I start rolling the snowball. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

    I've been watching the smaller markets for a while and I'm not sure they have a better handle on realistic pricing as do the larger markets. This is across the board and across brands but I'm seeing the market adjustment mentality is stronger in these smaller cities and towns, like they're not willing to let that last little bit of greed melt away. They still need to pay the piper for that covid greed yet apparently. Great talk Burke!

    Here is the actual standing of the C8 series going into 2025. The ENTIRE C8 series cars are perhaps the greatest sports cars ever MASS PRODUCED, and that includes Porsche because of serious reasons of cost. Unlike previous generations of Corvette, the C8 series has exceeded expectations by attracting the same buyers of exotic cars. You Tubers have still yet to even understand how dominant the C8 series is as to what people are buying. I get a kick out of the negativity towards this series because it DOMNATED the North American market like NEVER before. If you have the money to own and keep one then you are unbelievably lucky. VERY FEW people will ACTUALLY know what the C8 series is in terms of technology that is superior to even BOUTIQUE car brands. Let them have their fun and get a kick out of it.

    Tons of $$ thrown into that one. Our Cleveland has the same Trickflow heads and the March brackets were what I have on our list. Nice looking pieces. Can only imagine what the final build will cost for that 65. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to seeing more of it.

    • @RoadOdyssey
      @RoadOdyssey 22 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Good to hear from ya! Scott seems to like the TrickFlow parts. Although I think he has used a variety of other vendors on the FE engines. Ever since I saw the March brackets I have really liked them. They are cool. The build cost is certainly higher than it needs to be, but not because of the Callaway's. Owner has tried to save money buying parts not knowing that the Callaway's are professionals, can get better pricing, and most notably get the correct parts (time has been lost due to being given wrong parts...). Callaway's have a "shop build" Mustang I hope to see get built some day (Cobra Jet engine). HAVE FUN!!! Love your Mustang build.

      @RoadOdyssey หลายเดือนก่อน

      I really don’t recall. Seems like about 5 or so. But I didn’t need all of them. And I think I used a couple of big ones. I had gone to a local collision center that had a good Toyota connection. We went over the diagrams to get part numbers and count. I over bought by a few too.

      Within the 1st minute I do say it is "unfortunate"... At about 9:50 I display the sentence, " Very sorry for Todd's ZR1." I seriously made the point for people to drive responsibly. Not sure of your point or where you think I should have altered my words. Thanks though...

    I got the Soler on Monday, installed on Wednesday and it’s unbelievable in the modes it offers and the lock feature is amazing! Once set, when you hit the gas there’s no throttle or pedal response. Thief has no time to troubleshoot as that’s time wasted getting caught.

Hickman's have been really busy. I need a little more on it before finishing up the vid...but I may just make the vid anyway... IDK yet.
