@JJMarmite lmao maybe around 20 years 🤣 back when I worked at GW. The metal made to order models had these beauts lurking in the catalogue. So I ordered a bunch before they stopped us ordering models with the price based on weight lol. And yes it's absolutely bonkers the USR thing. They literally said it was thing they wanted to bring back for this edition. Then made captains and chaos lords have the same rule with different names. And to make matters funnier. A guy just won the Las Vegas open. I'm sure his list has a space marine captain. Plus a deathwatch watch master. And their rules are written slightly differently. So they can abuse the mass amounts of CP and strategems 🤣🤣🤣

Yes absolutely! But with how cool some kill team sets are. They could include loads of options. Obvs autoguns or close combat weapons. But specialists like a rogue psyker. Demo. Sniper. Mini apostle. List goes on. Of cool options. Aswell as flamers. Heavy stubbers. Grenade launchers. Plasmas. Meltas. I'd love it.

@War_Hammered Yeah, quite all the Codexes are getting their corresponding Kill Team kit entry, but not CSM, apart from Traitor Guard, which is not chosen often because it hasn't sticky objective. Otherwise I would see them well with Iron Warriors.

@War_Hammered About this edition I can say that I like very much the rules system but at the same time it is the worst one if you think about customisation of characters and choice of wargear. And if you don't want to diversify the cost of weapons you should make them alternative and not only OP/autotake/useless...

In regular games it's probably fine. Once things get sweaty. Fishing might be needed. I did it this game more because I was being cruel and thought it was funny how many dice I was ending up with 😅 When 40k 10th edition came out. The studio guys said one of the big things they were addressing in 10th was rerolls. And toughness. And just ended up with the best things in the game being units with rerolls... Which leads onto a few other things. Recently GW said that the dice rerolling process for 40k is taking to long. Which as I now film dice rolls. I fully agree with. Hit (rerolls, lethals and sustained. Fishing) Wound rolls. (Rerolls. Dev wounds) Armour saves. The feel no pains. It takes forever! Age of Sigmar has address this dice rolling Fiasco much better in my opinion.

@War_Hammered I think your right AOS has it working better for sure, I'm not against fishing BTW, we just decided it was too strong so changed it, same with strategems, we only allow each strategem to be used once, except cp reroll that can be used twice, makes decisions harder whilst playing and less reactions from opponents to slow the game down, I'd be screwed going to tournaments nowadays, anyway glad I found your channel, great miniatures, great tables and great games, top job

@@anthonywoodward4158 cheers! And I think house ruled strats and rules are great. I've been thinking of doing it myself. Bit difficult when doing it for TH-cam because I'd like everyone to be able to Follow along fine. But for instance. Once my house Olympia Knights are fully battle ready. When facing other knights. I'd like to play 2CP overwatch as an example. Because it'll be getting used to shoot at knights. Which I think will be much more even.

@War_Hammered I agree would be bad for youtube but anything that helps balance things out or introduce something new that you can't normally do in friendly games is always fun and worth testing, your knights are amazing I watched the game against imperial knights yesterday which was why I subscribed to you, blown away by the models and terrain, kudos for the hard graft, painting is my least favourite part of the hobby and it shows in my armies lol

​@anthonywoodward4158 tbh I use games as excuses to get models painted haha. So for this game the Raptors. As my channel goes on tho. I will include house rules in games. But it will mostly be match up/ terrain themed. And be very clear in the pregame what we are doing and why :)
