Crash Twinsanity Emulator Comparison
Have you ever wondered what the best emulator to use for Crash Twinsanity is? This video will help you figure out which emulator might be best for you. PCSX2 and Cxbx-Reloaded both have near-perfect gameplay. Cxbx-Reloaded does suffer from some audio bugs (so does xemu) but it might be related to the xbox version of the game.

I used the NTSC 2.0 version for both PS2 emulators and the NTSC version for the Xbox emulators.

Issues: Struggled a bit when hitting the first world checkpoint. The game typically does, but it was a bit harsher here.

Issues: Had some audio issues here and there. Rarely, music wouldn't play. My gameplay wasn't great for this emulator, so that's my fault and not the emulator's fault.

Thanks to Smartkin, we can now control how time flows. Using the script Smartkin created, I've managed to make 3 new objects for Crash Twinsanity. The yellow time crate slows time down 50%, the red time crate will double the speed, and the green time crate will return the speed to normal. This is an insane run. Very little went from throughout the entire run. Had some small-time save here and there but overall it went pretty good. This run follows the leaderboard rules of "Timing starts as soon as you gain control and ends upon destroying The Evil Twins' robot". I might be done with this category but who knows.

Small correction: Tikimon only adds 6%. The extra 2% comes from collecting Farmer Ernest's Crystal, which is also the trigger for the worm spawn.
It's not the world record anymore though, it was surpassed by about 8 minutes by Gpro 😊

I have seen the concept of setting up a long-jump in several videos, but I don't understand how it works. Could you explain it?
Slide jump, then without jumping again, go to the edge of a platform, then when you jump you'll have a bit more speed.

Can someone tell me if long jump works in the xbox version of the game?
Yes, it works on all versions of the game. Make sure you've done a slide jump before the long jump and that you are jumping from an edge.

Is the modded iso supposed to load me directly into the level? Because everytime I run it through PCSX2 I just end up on the starting beach level, as in the retail game. I'm running the PAL version, and have mod it with the modcrate in CrateMODloader.
The mod does not change the starting chunk. There is a setting that you can change in the CML to start at the 10th dimension lab if you just want to play the level.
@@atomical_sloths2833 I did see the starting chunk section in misc, but wasn't sure of the level names to input? Is there a list, or even just a general hub one I can use?
