But now, coffee is an complete EXPERIENCE with seasonal and land-specific cold brews! We (being primarily espresso drinkers) haven't tried all of them (yet,...

All the best from Edinburgh! 🏴
Awesome. Very enjoyable. Edinburgh looks stunning.
Song?
I heard you can see puffins there sometimes!
WOW that’s stunning!
You win. Nothing to see here . Thats beautiful ❤❤
Nice wee tour 👍 ✌️♥️🏴.
Glad you enjoyed it! Parts 2 and 3 coming soon!
Min
nice tour
The Milkman och Cockburn street...😳
Thanks for the tour! Would love to get there sometime. 🙂
Fun video, loved the scenery!
Oh man, I love Coronation Chicken!
It’s a classic for a reason! :-)
If anyone ever comes to Durham do the cathedral and then just wander for a small city there are lots of forest paths
Love watching people enjoy my home town, I hope (and I’m confident) that you were warmly welcomed by the Geordies 🙂 do I detect a hint that your Mel Brooks fans too ? Great video guys
I love watching people enjoy my home town… especially when you visit some of my favourite places to go grab a bite to eat. I hope you had a great time. Don’t leave it 8 years to come back this time ☺️
As you looked down from the castle turret & over the railway lines you were looking down on history, just alongside , to the left is what is called the Stephenson Quarter & has the original engineering factory of George Stephenson & his son, Robert . George invented the steam engine & his son the railways & their bridges, which of course, really caught on globally 😉
Thank you for visiting my home town so glad you enjoyed the trip. You are welcome back anytime so much more to see in County Durham including many more castles including some with Ghosts
I bid you both a Hello from the original Washington in the UK, P & L . . . yes, the first ancestral home of the Washington family here in the NE of England . . . dating way back to medieval times or before - but it's last name before becoming Washington, was when it changed from the name Wessynton or Wessyntun, to its new landowners (maybe in the years c15-1600's), Washington. Your own 1st president George's ancestors - (their former coat of arms was 3 red stars and 2 red bars below with a white background - our schools badge on our jacket pocket!) - . . . (Maybe they chose to live here due to the closeness of its name to their own?) - Originally all was owned and controlled by the diocese of the Bishop of Durham way back in those olden days. Lying about 12 miles from Durham - and about equally 6 miles from both Newcastle & Sunderland. Formerly a tiny hamlet, and then a village with its own church set up on a hill - and is also known as the church on the hill here. And this was where the Washington family built their, for the time, manor house. It has been for many years kept in good repair and has had refurbishment done over time, but can still be viewed at set times. (We will have a website about it along with more info offered, I am sure?) - Pres Jimmy Carter also visited it when he came over to the UK back in the early 70's (as his car and others passed our school while we were all there standing outside to see it. He also planted a tree on the village green nearby. (I think it died for some reason many years later, but was replaced perhaps?) - And on July 4th every year, the US flag is flown on its flagpole as well . . . It is now a well spread town with districts and an approx population of 80,000 . . .
The eclectic nightlife within your info is definitely a word for up here in the North-East of England P & L . . . Not only is it party-time every weekend here - but the what the weather is like never mattered much either! Between 3 & 4 decades ago was when I was going to the Bigg Market on a weekend. Down to about 0c in December, jackets were still a rarely worn extra item - just t-shirts and jeans, or shirts and jeans if better dressed for men. The girls, skirts, mini-skirts and blouses - some even in the same t-shorts or boob tubes only. Coats or jackets were worn only if it was chucking it down with rain or it was snowing or if the temperature dropped down below -5 to -10c, lol . . . Pleased to hear that you returned to sample more of the friendly NE of England again though . . . I hope you are both enjoying your former holiday reminder back up here.
Oh dang that mac n cheese looks so good! Also love that the fish place is right there on the sand in a shipping container!
Ha! Carpo. I’m💀 Very fun video. Looking forward to trying some of these places on my next visit.
Riley’s Fish Shack is getting added to the list! Any place you dream of for years and love more on your return visit is a place worth trying. Plus that view 😍😍
Ooh how fun! I've always wanted to visit there!
Ok Happiness Forgets has been on my “want to visit” list since it started winning things years ago. Did it meet the hype? How were the drinks? The place looks really cool. Love the shots of the drinks being made.
It exceeded all expectations! Drinks were creative and delicious, and the service/hospitality was impeccable. We appreciated that the drinks, while inventive and creative, weren’t trying too hard to be different merely for the sake of being different. We found it, because it won Tales of the Cocktail.
Omg that ramen looks SO DAMN GOOD 🤤🤤🤤 Can’t wait to try those cocktail bars! Thanks for so many great recommendations!
It was some of the best ramen we’ve ever had! Can’t wait to go back!
I think I need that Ahsoka mug!
Kind of regretting not buying one for myself.
I’ve never put much time or effort into food at Disneyland - I don’t remember there being all that many choices. I might need to rethink how I do things!
It’s totally different now! Disney has realized that whole groups of people will make the trip to Disney parks mainly for excellent food. While there are still average food offerings available, great food is plentiful and easy to find! Oh and the cocktails 😍😍😍
Oh that muffuletta sandwich looks so good.
It was DELICIOUS!!
Roller coaster sounds from Peter are the best!
🤣🤣
Peter looks so content. Happy birthday 😊
After some tougher months losing close friends and family, this trip was a balm for the soul.
Omg that birria grilled cheese looks so good!! 🤤🤤🤤 Is it a forever item or seasonal?
Sadly it’s just seasonal, but every new seasonal grilled cheese has been quite good!
Glad you’re enjoying them!! We’ll definitely be sharing new seasonal items on our next visit. We have so many tips and bits of history to share!
I’ve loved your tips so far! Keep ‘em coming. I can’t visit the California Disney parks this year, so I’m enjoying all the tasty foods you’ve shown. Looking forward to what you share next!
Loving these Disneyland videos. Perhaps my favourite place, can’t wait to come back - and perhaps try some of these cold brews!
Our favorite place, too! Neither of us were particular fans of cold brew beforehand, but their convenience (shorter line that Starbucks/ability to mobile order,) and great flavors have converted us!!
@@AdventuresofPeterandLauren I'm slightly concerned they might be be overly sweet for me and my Australian coffee preferences, but certainly willing to try them. When in Rome... And you've sold me on the convenience!
What a beautiful trip! Love seeing your food reviews!
Wow what a pretty town! Adding this to my “want to visit” list
So glad you enjoyed it! It’s such a charming place. We barely scratched the surface with this video. :-)
A slight correction .. Durham is a city …
As well as Durham City which is stunning . There is also Durham County to visit . But that might take you a couple of weeks to get around but its worth it
I'm glad to know you as friends and look forward to seeing all your adventures!
Thanks Pat! We have so many fun videos in store!
Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures!! 🙂
Thanks Craig!! Looking forward to showing off some favorite places in Aus next time we’re there!
Thanks for the fun video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow - would love to come visit here some day! 🙂
It’s such a charming suburb that most people only ever see for its wineries, but the food is also is on point!
Excellent video highlighting some special local eateries. I like the variety from ice cream to tacos to hot dogs. Looking forward to future videos!
Thanks for watching! We’re excited to share more of our local favorites.
