Fantastic solo and bass flute tone. Your solo had the soul of the bossa nova, not overstated or including too many notes, just wonderful melodic phrasing.

Just one small piece of advice. At 3:06, play the E flat more "sweetly." Don't "hit" it. That would be more in-line with the sweet, sentimental character of the tune.

Yes I live in HK . You know no one did any jazz on Dizi , I was just trying to do something different. Keep trying and find your own way … 👍

Not really .. if you can feel the groove just dive in and jamming with it
@@hkjazzy I do play jazz on the concert flute but on the dizi its a different story. Ik how to play blues on it but having hard time playing it true jazz😭. Guess I have to keep practicing more on half holing.
