Agile means mindset to which translates into a methodology with application of 4 rules and 12 principles. Way of doing things with more adaptabilty and flexibility.

I understand that it's better to have independent user stories, but sometimes reality falls far from that, so what tis the best way to deal with situations where there are dependencies?

The best thing about user stories is their ability to align the development team with user expectations, facilitate collaboration, and provide a structured yet flexible approach to delivering value in a customer-focused manner.

User stories are short and simple descriptions of what the customer would like to get out of a product. They are used to begin guiding the product owner and team in the development of the product.

Agile is indeed a mindset or a way of thinking. It's about embracing a flexible and collaborative approach to work. It's like having a mindset that values responsiveness, teamwork, and delivering value in small increments.

This video did a great job of answering questions of mine regarding the definition of a "user story". I now understand that a User Story is the definition of a project, written in story form: (This User) wants (this product) that solves (this problem) so that they can be awesome (in this way)/ achieve (this goal). The Acceptance Criteria is, essentially, a a definition of success on which a team agrees: We will know that we have met our goal in creating this product when it does (this), (this), and (this, etc.). I love this method of defining a project- I believe that most humans connect best in the story form of communication, as it keeps the broader contexts of a project in focus. A question that I had after watching this video is: what is an Acceptance Criteria? I gathered what it is from reading some of the comments. But by the end of the video, if one does not previously come from a tech production background, one may wonder as I did, if an Acceptance Criteria is a list that outlines the questions a team has about the project"s criteria, that must be verified by the customer, by which a team determines whether they will accept a project; or, whether it is a simple definition by which we can know when the project is done and functions as our customer needs it to function. I have now realized that it is the latter. However, I thought it may add some value to mention this because I do not see that term defined so far in the course. I may not be the only one who wondered. ;)
