Good maneuvering through the Big Apple! Powerful bike
Sup bro not sure if you still have your buddy 50 but were you running the malossi carb to your stock manifold?, and after you changed out the carb what did you do about the oil injection system such as the separate tank you put oil in? Did you start pre mixing or still put oil in that tank?
also were you running your airbox?
Are the weights and grove assembly stock?
Malossi variator polini 5.5 weights polini clutch
Scooter swap shop and scooter tunning Canada they have everything
You sir, are cool
When modified these buddy’s are extremely fast for a 50cc scooter. I have a mid race one same color white.
I love these videos
Dude is straight up breaking the law, gotta love it 😂😎
Is this a Minarelli motor?
Horizontal minarelli if im not mistaken
@@Edgardovlx600 you are right
Dope 🔥. Did you do the work yourself?
Yeah lots of hours on it 💪
@@Edgardovlx600 It paid off. I want to hook up my Honda but I’m not that talented. Bro props, it hauls.
Pretty dope, i got the same kit in my Roughhouse over in NJ. What pipe are you running and carb?
Hi. Tecnigas silent pro pipe and 19mm dellorto carb. malossi kit. Thanks 👍
@@Edgardovlx600 ditch that technigas and go to a Yasuni if you can, watch how your kit feels after that. That pipe is horrible for bbk bikes. Yasuni R if you have the extra cash, it will be well worth it trust me
This is sweet but you drive very very very badly
Mr Torres . Can you tell me how to change the brake pads on a buddy 50? .. I downloaded the service manual for the Buddy 50 but the pad changing they have in there is for the 120 and 170.. the buddy 50.. has smaller square pads... It appears that they might be able to be removed through the back opening in the back of the caliper.. it appears I might only have to remove the small bolt.. that I believe there might be some type of clip holding the two pads in and they can be removed without removing the calipers off the Scooter ? .. thanks for any help you can give
Hi the best way is removing the caliper and make sure of the spring position, is kinda tricky. I know the first time change sucks...
@@Edgardovlx600 thanks 👍
Update.. perhaps the newer buddies have different brake pads than the older ones the new ones have two square pads and tabs that stick out.. all I had to do is remove a little c clip pull the small bolt out.. and remove the spring clip.. pull the pads out by the tabs. Out though the back opening. wiggle the new brake pads in to place ..though rear opening in to the opening in the calipers.... Replace the spring clip retainer... Then line up the bolt. To the holes in the pads and the spring clip retainer.. break through the calipers out the other side.. clip on the seat clip.. was so easy and I did not have to remove the calipers... Perhaps some of the older buddies have brake pads. Similar to the 120 and 170 buddy.. but the 50cc are completely different... They get removed through the back opening in the calipers
Thanks for a no talk all action vid.
What mods do you have on in the video?
Malossi sport 70 cc dellorto 19 mm polini sport variator yellow spring in the clutch and silent pro pipe that's all.
@@Edgardovlx600 Thanks! Nice video and scooter btw.
My buddy 50 is fairly new . Picked it up in end of June...NEW.. put a scooter works on catalytic exhaust on it.. I think next year I might put on the 70cc kit? .. how fast does your scooter go mine goes 45 on the speedo which is actually 40 on a GPS
If you do the kit you are gonna have to get rid of that pipe, it will destroy your kit
At the end of the set up was running 65 buddymiles
@@mikecooper7191 what pipe would you run one of those ones that look like a foxhorn..lol
@@glenmones713 lol they look like that for a reason, they are called expansion chambers or flip pipes. Those bends and chamber help produde power bands at certain rpm levels. Some pipes good for sport use, which is basically like adding a littke noise to your stock motor, they dont really have sufficient enough expansion chambers for kitted bikes. Best pipe you can get in my opening is the Yasuni R for the Buddys and Roughhouse, especially one that has a bbk. I run the malossi cast 70cc kit, i had an. NCY sport pipe, it totally suffocated my kit, buke ran like shit. I put that Yasuni on and my bike hits 55mph all day long on the GPS, I havent topped it out yet its got plenty more
BTW .. was that the third avenue or Willis avenue bridge you went over? Looks very familiar again I haven't really been in that area since the late 1980s when I used to drive limos
180 St bridge
Alexander Hamilton bridge 🌉
@@Edgardovlx600thanks .. the bridges looked familiar but it's been a long time since I was in that part of the city .. safe ride ❤️🙏
Wow... You're brave cruising the streets of NYC.. with all the crazy taxi drivers and buses! (I used to be a limo driver in the 1980s in NYC) things are really crazy in the city nowadays.. I live in Connecticut in here we have no registration or insurance or taxes.. on 49cc scooters ! Many people are even purchasing 125s and 150s taking the labels off the outside and the cops don't bother them.. fact a lot of quads and dirt bikes riding on the streets doing wheelies the cops won't go after them anymore because the governor declared that the cops could be personally sued! Cop told me they refuse to go after the illegal dirt bikes and quads because if they chased them and they crashed they can be personally sued.. so basically it's the wild wild 2 wheel west here in Connecticut... I'm careful but I do admit I look both ways and if there's nobody there I run right through the stop sign.... I do always wear a helmet at least a half .... When it's cold out I wear a open face with a shield that comes down and sunshield that retracts also.. but in the summer I wear the half helmet.. I wear a motorcycle textile jacket.. with slide protection.. and rubber armor pads in the elbows shoulders and back... I think I'm going to purchase some riding pants with armor and it also... I get it on Amazon HWK brand for like $65 it's a new company very reasonable
Thanks for the video... I like to rev my buddy 50 two stroke just like you do.. a friend of mine claims that I'm damaging my bike by revving it like that and letting it coast and revving it again ! I tried to explain to him that's how people with two-stroke scooters drive! I have owned a few two-stroke motorcycles in the past also .. that's why we love two strokes because of the sound when we read them and let them Coast.... Then rev them some more
Its called clearing the cylinder. You are actually supposed to do that, basically cools the cylinder down on 2 strokes.
@@mikecooper7191 thanks
Athena sport 70ss and polini scooter ream 3 moped will ride normally
How well did polini team 4 fit the Buddy 50?.. I asked cuz I had a Buddy 50 with a stage6 sport pro 70 with the yasuni c16 but had to notch the mounting brackets to make it fit..
Hello I just bought a little longer screw to get the pipe from the base. That's all
I added a primo windscreen to my buddy 50 and got 5 mph more top end... Added a scooterworks exhaust..non catalytic.. and gained 5 mph more top end... Gained 10 mph top end over my original top speed just by adding the windshield and exhaust no rejetting or variator worked yet! (Possibly changing the rollers in the variator soon)
Glad your.doing a buddy 50 I am just starting on mine please recommend some.parts.you use
Hi Michael, I have my buddy for 1 Year ready and I recommend you go 70cc sport on the cylinder and the variator.1500 contraspring and the same clutch (the yellow ones). The Dellorto 19mm carburetor with the malossi intake works perfectly with 98 main jet on it. And for the exhaust pipe tecnigas to keep the noise down ⬇️ and a racing one like polini race 4 or Yasuni C16 to make some noise up⬆️ and some extra mph. Let me know if you need any help or advice, thanks
Primo windscreen...+5mph .. plus keep bugs / acorns .etc from hitting you also duck behind if it starts raining.... Add a scooter works non-catalytic exhaust..130 bucks ..+5mph ..total +10 mph .. I did not do any rejetting on the carburetor I left stock still got true 40 MPH on GPS LEVEL GROUND .....(=45 mph on speedo .. all scooter speedometers read 5 MPH.faster than you're actually going)! Slight down hill aTRUE 45-50 MPH .via GPS confirmed

Was there big difference with this and original exhaust? I mean power? I have 70cc and 17.5 carb, should i get this? I have peugeot speedfight 3 2 stroke.
More torque and a little more rpm, works great on 50 en 70cc sport cilinderkits. Silent en drivable at all speeds. When u use your scooter every day this is your best choice
Sounds great, what size main jet in carb?
88 it's the best 1 for me
@@Edgardovlx600 sounds like very well adjusted, how performs the team 4 on a 70cc Sport? Im riding a Beta ark AC with 50cc Malossi Sport 17,5mm Dell Orto and Yasuni Z but looking for an extra exhaust
Give me a huge difference.. a lot of power but you have to change the packing of the pipe regularly
@@Edgardovlx600 try putting liquid seal on the packing, it hardens out and sticks very well. Problem solved. Malossi sport 70 is a great kit, drove it up to 40000km without any problems on a malossi crank with Gianelli shot and dell Orto 17,5mm. Lasts very long with normal use and regularly changing your air filter element
Did you change your throttle cable when you changed the carburetor?
No I don't change it
@@Edgardovlx600 thanks for the help man
What is the top speed with this exsaust on 70cc cilinder ?
I was going 51 mph
@@Edgardovlx600 thanks i just bought it put it on my typhoon 70cc dr cilinder 17.5 delorto 7.5g rollers but it doesn't go anywere like 60km/h tops like 37mp/h does it have a restrictor of some kind that you have to take out ?
Yes, Tecnigas silent pro comes with 2 two restrictions, 1 one at the beginning and other at the end.
@@Edgardovlx600 thanks man I almost sent it back
how do you remove the restrictions ?
Nice, I have one almost just like it. What led headlight did you use
I bought it on Amazon last summer for$16. I don't remember exactly, but I think is a 6,000 lumens h4
Thanks I'll look, I got 1 awhile ago but it was to big and I didn't want to cut anything out. I look forward to more videos of yours
