This 3rd function hydraulic kit is unlike any other!
มุมมอง 5Kปีที่แล้ว
When shopping for a 3rd function for our Kubota L2501 tractor, I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Most all of the kits were generic (universal) which results in a less than ideal installation, with excessively long hoses and mounting methods that weren't as clean as I would have liked. In addition, they have components that can fail leaving you without the use of your attachment. I...
This 1 MINUTE upgrade is a game changer for Kubota L3560 & L4060 Limited Edition models!
มุมมอง 2.1Kปีที่แล้ว
Kubota started offering the "Limited Edition" models a few years ago. One would think that LE would mean something special, when in fact, it is actually limited in the features offered. However, most every feature "deleted" on the LE models can be purchased at lower combined price than the higher cost of the machine with these features from the factory. The plugs are already on the harness for ...

Some nice improvements but I'd like to see grease fitting on all Hinge points and hinge pins that are not threaded bolts going through cylinder yokes. Use longer shanks or pins.
That rod is called a timing rod. It has nothing to do with spacing it’s to time both ssqa pads together so they both make contact with the implement at the same time to ensure a positive connection. People beef them up because all it takes is to grab an implement lift up and realize both pads didn’t fully engage and now that timing rod is twisted and the pads aren’t timed properly.
Thanks for this install video, I got mine today :)
What state brother
I don't see a cushion valve
Great video.
Hey there. Thanks for the video. Could you point me in the direction of where to get those shims? I think I'd like to try a 8 and 4, unless you feel that might be too much? Thanks
@davids5938 Any Kubota dealer shouls stock them. it is trial and error for the most part. Add a shim, check the pressure and adjust from there. Thanks for watching!
Do you have a video of how you plumb the valve in? I love this. Im currently looking for a 3rd function valve for my tractor. I also am not crazy about the electric valves. I wanted more control like you have here.
DO NOT BUY ANY KUBOTA PRODUCT I BOUGHT A NEW KUBOTA LX 4020 TRACTOR TO USE FOR A SNOW REMOVAL BUSINESS IN BRIAN HEAD, UT. I HAD TO PURCHASE FROM A DEALERSHIP IN COLORADO AS IT WAS THE ONLY KUBOTA DEALERSHIP WITHIN A 1000 MILE SEARCH TO HAVE THE TRACTOR I NEEDED FOR THE PURPOSE INTENDED. The Dealership, Wickham Tractor in Fort Collins, CO sold me the tractor and added Howes diesel treatment to the tank as well as selling me the remainder of the bottle to use to prevent the fuel from jelling. I Used as per specs. Tractor was purchased on 11/21/23 and I picked it up and transported it back to UT. Tractor was in operation for 17.2 hours before it would not start. Local Kubota dealerships said they would not come out to try to fix it as we did not buy it from them. Took it to Las Vegas, NV, as they were closest Kubota dealership, dropped off on 1/8/24 at 730 am. Kubota dealership said the fuel smelled funny so it wasn't covered under warranty and said $12000.00 plus to fix. The DPF was completely clogged and the only codes were low temp MAF sensor and no communication with EGR. Western area rep said there was no fuel to test because I drained it. This is a Lie. Had more than 6 gallons of fuel in it when i dropped it off. I have all the emails and correspondences and text messages, proving they denied coverage for adding a fuel additive. Sergio at Kubota customer service said, “When I put fuel in the tractor it voided warranty.” Apco, the Kubota dealership in Las Vegas, sent out the injectors for testing they came back as bad due to fuel contamination on 1/23/24. Kubota persisted in their point of me putting bad fuel in the Tractor. When I called the tester, I pressed about the fuel contamination. The person who did the test, said it was visible metal in the injectors that most likely came from the high pressure fuel pump. There was no metal in the fuel tank, fuel filter or fuel water separator. The dealership i bought the tractor from said they were the only ones that could help me at this point due to Kubota policy. Eddie at Wickham tractor told me I needed to bring the tractor back to them, 1367 miles round trip. and they would sell me a new one because I had broken this one. And would see about trying to fix the one I had already bought for a discount. I transported the tractor back to Greely, CO to Wickham on 1/18/24 they tested the fuel that was still in the filters and it came back as fine 2/8/24 so they were going to replace the entire engine. This could take between 3 to 9 months. My warranty coverage says all warranty work to be completed within 30 days. On 2/28/24 I found out there was internal Kubota Service Bulletin that came out to all the dealers the week before I bought the tractor stating the very problems my tractor was having. They knew this, and still denied coverage, and finally, when I presented this fraud to Kubota, on 3/7/24 Wickham tractor said they were going to replace the tractor with a new one, but wouldn't give me a timeline of when I would get a new one and I would have the expense of picking it up from them verses a local dealership. These delays have cost me my business and reputation to move snow I had to pay out my competitors and cancel and refund all my contracts. A service bulletin for this tractor was issued before I bought it stating this very problem. and it was to be fixed at Kubotas expense. They knew the problem existed, they tried to blame it on me for adding fuel supplement, they tried to coerce me into buying a new tractor on top of the broken one so i didn't lose my business. they refused to cover the cost of repair until i proved their fraud, and intent by pushing the narrative and then changing and deleting emails. I have all emails and correspondence showing the timeline, the fraud and intent.
This made me laugh
Great advise
Got any thing for a LS tractor

What a dissapointment video, can't see the readings or hear the discrition. What a missed opertunity to make an interesting video.

Are you planning to offer the 3rd Function Kit for the MX5400 HST?
@@eugenepolgar2345 I would like to. I will have to redesign the foot pedal to do so. Stay tuned!
Strongly disagree. Kubota is relying solely on the attachment to provide the rigidity for the QA. The spreader bar should have been larger diameter to resist random torque forces side to side. Go look at Bobcat, where this original design came from. Much heavier design. Kubota made the decision to rely on the bucket to cancel the forces left to right. If one side of the QA gets unhooked, all hell breaks loose. I have had an L series Kubota for years, its the best tractor on the market, but they are not perfect by any means. Go talk to a ag dealer that sells this line, they will confirm this.
First off let me say I very much enjoy working with 5 Eleven DesignZ Justin Salamin. Justin very much cares about his companies products and his customer's concerns. My Kubota tractor is a L3800DT with LA524 loader and BH77 backhoe. Even though my tractor was not on 5 Eleven DesignZ list of tractors for this 3rd function hydraulic kit, Justin went out of his way to help me out, and the following day Justin contacted me and quickly mailed me out this same hydraulic kit. The easy to follow instructions included hydraulically attaching my BH77 backhoe directly to 5Eleven DisignZ 3rd function. I've used the backhoe several times since the installation with no loss of hydraulic power. Great setup, and I can still take my backhoe on and off as always. Good show by Justin Salamin. MJ
@miltonjones8264 thank you sir! Glad I could help. I appreciate the kind words and your business!
What are your hose ratings, my BX is 3000# on the hoses.
Also 3000.
So many owners get freaked out by Manufacturer's specs. Those specs are FOR their PROTECTION, for warranty and liability costs, not because of machine capability.
I have a L2501 with LA525. Attempted an install today of the grille guard inserts and I am finding that the bolts for the pivot points on the factory grille guard do not align with the bolt holes on the 5Eleven insert. I'm going to have to grind the hole back in order for it to work.
I'm sorry to hear you are having trouble. I have discovered that Kubota has either changed their lower factory guard or sometimes use one from another model, but I have not been able to figure out which. The parts diagram does not show a change. However, I have updated the design so it will work with either situation. We may have already spoken, but I'm not sure since I can't see your name. Please reach out, and I will send a replacement asap. Thank you for your business! Justin
@@5elevendesignz511 I was able to grind it back and its on. No need to send replacement. Appreciate the response.
@uscg5581 good to hear. My pleasure. Thank you!
We have a grand L6060 LA1055 loader. Thinking of getting this as we keep swapping between bucket, forks and and grapple. We store the tractor in a garage with nothing on the front so always hooking up. Two questions, we have your third function guard installed. Your electric diverter fit no problem with the guard? Also lots of time when we put the bucket the bucket wont sit just right. We hop off and try to put the ssqa arms down (kubotas) and they wont lock in place as the bucket isn't all the way in on the bottom. So we hop on up and shake the bucket so it sits in right. But what happens if we try the auto ssqa and its not sitting right. Will it stop or will it try to force and break or bend something?
I apologize for the delay; I just saw this. If you are referring to the hydraulic line guard, the diverter kit is designed to work with or without our line guard. It is a manually operated diverter, so when you need your 3rd function after hooking up an attachment, you just connect the hydraulic lines and flip the lever on the diverter. I won't bend or break something as the pins are still the stock engagement pins with springs as long as the springs have enough travel.
@@5elevendesignz511 Thanks, we already bought it, sitting on a box in our garage waiting to be installed
is that job box set up is slick. you should do a more detailed video on the bracketry you made for it.
Thank you! I should do that. Unfortunately, the internal frame is covered in concrete, but the exterior I could cover.
Thanks for sharing. What is the weight of your load?
I have no way of actually measuring it, but I would estimate around 1300 lbs give or take.
Maybe you should edit or delete this video after this EA closing, taking customers $ & not shipping what they paid for months ago.
Would love to have one for my LX!
I hope to get something put together for those.
Did anyone do this and notice a decrease in driving power? I added about 1.2 mm to my 2501 and while it definitely increased lift, it seemed to decrease power traveling, esp in high gear. Anyone else experience??
I could be mistaken, but this should not affect your HST functionality.
This is simply amazing. Would doing this to my new L3302 void the warranty?
If you went above the pressure specification, I would assume so. If within the specification, I wouldn't think so. Thanks for watching!
Yes, yes it will. Kubota loaders have a rating for a reason. This loader is rated for 525 KG (1157.43 Lbs) The forks will reduce this number substantially. Grappels and such, even more. This modification will add more stress to the axels, pins and other parts of the tractor. Want to lift more? Buy an MX5400. It's equipped with an LA1032 loader. It will do over a ton of weight.
The hydraulic piston attach looks far better, I sheered mine with the single piece, the double sheet on the new model is far superior.
I agree. There are a ton of improvements on the new model.
I have the 60" for my MX5200 and it does everything I ask of it. Makes quick work of underbrush, vines and autumn olive. I pull everything out into the open and then run over it with the flail mower to debulk the brush, makes for more compact piles. I love it for grabbing logs and bucking firewood as well. I picked up one of your hydraulic line protectors for the loader and they go together like peas and carrots. The build quality of your products is complementary to the Everything Attachments products.
I really need a flail. But theybare so expensive for the vertical type I want. Thank you for the compliment! I appreciate it and your business!
My new 2022 with 10,000 miles dose it to .but I don't remember if it had that nose when I got it .I started to here it a 10000 miles .what did you ever figure out
I haven't figured anything out, just know there is excessive backlash in the ring/pinion and that Ford doesn't care to inspect it. Been a diehard Ford customer for 30 years, but I have found myself looking elsewhere recently for my next truck.
@5elevendesignz511 my truck was at Ford today .gone back in few days to have the slip yolk that sliding in out of differential .. repacked with some kind of lub that they use now .
When will you have them available for the LA535? Looks amazing
Thank you! The LXs will be a bit of a challenge due to all the congestion in that area, but I am up for it. Sorry I am not able to provide timing yet. I need to do a bit of research.
I think that you have a big winner there !
I hope so!
Justin definitely a time saving devise for those of us who are constantly changing attachments. Though you covered the Wicked Everything Grapple which I own I also have the Frostbit Grapple. Would you know if the same issue exists with the 90 & 45 degree fittings. Tony
I am not familiar with that grapple. You would need to see if the fittings extend much beyond the plane of the SSQA surface.
So Justin If you lock it then unplug it to plug in your grapple it will stay Lock? Does the cylinder have a locking block like on the Top Link cylinders so it won’t Drift and possibly unlock? Or am I overthinking it.
Bob, It will stay locked since there is nowhere for the oil to go. The cylinder would have to have an internal leak AND an external force on the levers, pushing them to make it move. Not overthinking it; it is good to think through it and ask the question. With a top link there is direct pressure pushing (or pulling) the cylinder with a lot of force due to leverage. Some valves have a checkvalve in addition to the ones in the block to prevent this. Since the hoses are deadheading at the couplers, there is nowhere for the fluid to go when they are unplugged.
@@5elevendesignz511 Ok makes sense. I know our hay rake leaks down when sitting but I think the couplers are leaking. We’re gonna put on new couplers and our a 1/4 turn shut off valves. Thanks another great product.
@bobpurs thank you sir!
I ordered a wicked 55 grapple in Sept of 23 and have not received it. Also can not contact any one at ea, does anyone have info on ea?
Word is they are temporarily closed. Hopefully, they reopen as they make the best attachments money can buy.
How much air does it consume, at what pressure, please? (CFM/psi) Thanks!
Nice Justin 👍. Great use of space in that guard
Thanks Bob!
That worked surprisingly well! I haven't seen a sickle mower used like that before. Did you notice any damage to the blades after you finished?
Not at all. It shows capacity to be about 1" if I remember correctly.
Wondering if you plan an expansion of the foot operated third function to the BX series?
Possibly, but no immediate plans currently.
Awesome! Nice work!👊💪🙌🚜🇺🇸
Thank you!
Hello. Great video. Just got a plow for my Kubota. Do you know what size quick connect fittings the Kubota 3rd function uses on your tractor? Thank you.
Does your front grill guard design for the 1025R still allow suitcase weights to be hung off the front of the frame?
Justin I have the old school tool and it definitely takes some time to get one nut set. can see the benefits of the pneumatic tool for product. Thanks for sharing 👍TCT
Thanks for watching Tony!
That's a $4 cap screw at Ace Hardware. And about 1/10th of that anywhere else.
Very cool tool. Used a lot of grip nuts when I was still working. Wish we’d had one of those then. Hope all is well Justin.
All is well Bob. I hope the same for you!
What’s the chances of making it work on a L3902?
Working on confirming fitment for the L02s. If it won't work as confgured, I am sure a different design could be made.
I have confirmed it will work on the L02 gear drive models, but not the HST unfortunately.
How much is the cost? Thanks
Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
Justin, Do you think with a reasonable amount of effort that this 3rd function could be adapted to the TL500 loader on a Kubota B26 TLB?
Unfortunately I really don't know. Everything from the mount to the hose lengths are specific to the L01 (and possibly L02) models.
When you have one tor the B2650 cab model I’m in.
Chipper Does look well built Justin. Like the storage you built into that new guard 👍
