#Bible #Biblestudy #proverbs #faith #God #Jesus - 2 Corinthians 12:9 emphasizes the sufficiency of God's grace and the perfection of His power in human weakness. - This verse is often studied to understand how strength can be found in acknowledging one's limitations and relying on divine support. - The context of this verse is Paul's discussion of his own weaknesses and the "thorn in his flesh"...

    Editing advice, since you asked... Back when I did action sports edits I tried to pick a few songs that matched the energy of the video content I had along with the vibe I wanted to get across. Then I'd put the music in, and add markers for all the various measures/bars and for major transitions like break downs etc etc. Then I'd cut up all my video segments and try and find stuff that matched all the various measures and what not so it all lined up with the music. I'd use B-roll or just talking bits like you got in the intro or break downs of sings or between songs... but I'd keep stuff shorter. Oh and play with strange camera angles. Get those octopus GoPro mounts and attach it to stuff and then shred into the scene then out. Oh and uh... it's kind of cheat but most folks speed their stuff up just 3-7% or so to look a little cooler, get rid of that GoPro effect that makes stuff look slower than you remember it.

    • @JamieRomoser
      @JamieRomoser 12 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Oh Wow thanks for taking the time to write that insightful comment! I haven't heard anyone bring up making markers for songs with he bars a measures that seems very useful. Another thing I've been struggling with it seems is finding copyright free music that i like haha kinda funny you mentioned speeding up things i messed around with that in this edit first time really experimenting with that

      @@JamieRomoser Oh and I forgot to mention, play with Camera angles more. Get a GoPro octopus mount and hook it up to all sorts of random stuff to give you the great angle. For example that church stairs that had the rail next to it, attach it on there low and looking up!

      A bicycle, also called a pedal cycle, bike or cycle, is a human-powered or motor-powered assisted, pedal-driven, single-track vehicle, having two wheels attached to a frame, one behind the other. A bicycle rider is called a cyclist, or bicyclist. Bicycles were introduced in the 19th century in Europe. By the early 21st century, more than 1 billion were in existence.These numbers far exceed the number of cars, both in total and ranked by the number of individual models produced. They are the principal means of transportation in many regions. They also provide a popular form of recreation, and have been adapted for use as children's toys, general fitness, military and police applications, courier services, bicycle racing, and bicycle stunts. The basic shape and configuration of a typical upright or "safety bicycle", has changed little since the first chain-driven model was developed around 1885. However, many details have been improved, especially since the advent of modern materials and computer-aided design. These have allowed for a proliferation of specialized designs for many types of cycling. The bicycle's invention has had an enormous effect on society, both in terms of culture and of advancing modern industrial methods. Several components that played a key role in the development of the automobile were initially invented for use in the bicycle, including ball bearings, pneumatic tires, chain-driven sprockets and tension-spoked wheels.

Also saw Luke Malone riding in about the same area. The reason I started riding the garage is because its somewhat the closest level ground where i live the streets outside kinda are like pyramids for water run off gonna try not to give up haha we going for the long game been inspired by some believers that motivated me to do Bible study devotionals because some have done them for years one guy said he done one almost every day for 18 years what a trip haha!

      @@JamieRomoser i think i am most impressed by your consistency in both flatland practice and your bible studies. It takes dedication to keep doing something day after day. When I was in my 30's I did a deep dive in to religion and it seemed the more I read the bible and studied it the more I seemed to stop believing in traditional Religion. Reading the old testament I found myself trying to use reason and logic and it just made me question everything I was reading. As much as I wanted to understand and increase my faith it seemed to chase me away. The stories in there are just quite literally unbelievable to me. I did however enjoyed the Book of James in the New Testament. I feel that is a great book. I believe it gives a lot of tips in living right esp minding the tongue and how a Tree of good fruit will not produce bad fruit and we should have our minds and thought to produce good. Its crazy that a human mind can have in great thought and the very next second can have a negative thought. I guess whether or not a person believes Jesus was the son of god or just a real person who actually lived, I think that people were quite cruel to each other before Jesus time. HIs message I think helped people be kind and more forgiving. I guess in the end I made myself a Hybrid personal religion. I def believe in God. For what its worth, I have listened to a good amount of your studies and I liked where you talked about cursing ourselves with bad internal dialogue. You are totally right about that. I am dealing with a mechanic that is being difficult and I find myself being totally negative and frustrated internally. Really I need to just leave it to God and put my mind toward the positive things. Sorry for such a long post. I just thought I would give you some feedback in case you wondered if anyone listens to your lessons.

    • @JamieRomoser
      @JamieRomoser 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@kidwilson3357 thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. At this point in this season of the faith im in I feel im just kinda (Practicing) I have been inspired by many believers that do there Bible study devotionals on Twitch and youtube. the thing i observed on Twitch though is some do there devotionals then would get into working our or playing video games or cooking all in the same stream. I found it really fascinating and wanted to give it a try to practice (reading aloud) if theres anything in this season that I feel has made me think differently is how we can vocalize words out with different tonality's different emphasis that may other wise be a bit harder to write out? I met a Christian Programer that was really into John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." how he explained it to me really made me think differently on the power simple words can have on the mind Its interesting that most people we meet do have an internal monologue many time unaware. But what ive learned is words have a pivitol role in emotions and how we react to certain situations. something like that anyway haha take my words with a grain of salt but also on the note of the consistency. What I also found is doing the Bible studies before the flatland learning kinda has helped me not to get burnt out. its also kinda opened the door for me to experiment more with content because I used to ride Street and park alot more before I tore my ACL. In street riding people really like "finding new spots changing spots new angles new scenery" but the thing with flatland is many times it can be a bit harder finding more level ground and can be a bit more mundane at times in terms of shots and clips. So the Bible studies in some way has given a bit more delineation? think that's the word out of the monotony something like that haha keep shredding man bikes are rad!

    Support the bars with the knees/top of your legs depending on the height of your bars, and ride where there’s more space 😊
