I just realized that this game wasn't down and was very happy to see it's still here, because i'd finally be able to play it

I loved this game to the bone, played it all the time a few years ago. It's not dead in terms of updates but it's dead in terms of new players and anyone who doesn't have a group of friends. The reason I cant get into this game anymore is how insanely long and exaughsting quests are, they are the same thing over and over for the grind and even if you do all the quests of your level, you still fall behind the level curve when you reach around level 30. If you don't have friends, you suffer hugely, I remember getting stuck at level 50 cause the quests were too hard solo and there was nothing I could do. On top of that, they need to fix the combat system, it's real janky and monotenous. I also lost my level 50 character and my 700 hours because they gave you a month to switch your character over to their new system and I was overseas, so I lost everything without even knowing... so that really sucked and lead to me leaving it for years. Either way, I'll always love this game and play it now and then but there's no way I can recommend it or even be happy with it.

hoping this game will make a comeback, i recently made an alt account on Radan (server) and im trying to get back into the game even tho its constantly kicking me out, i see players here and there but overall dead. wish someone would put effort into this game as it has great potential.

best advice i can give is that more play time and trying different strategies will help you see more. There is literally so many resources on the map you can dominate even at the highest difficulty. heres a lets play proving that. th-cam.com/video/gzhSLD61f8w/w-d-xo.html quick tips, constantly move and attack, expand as you go, make sure the choke points your not clearing are safe enough, a couple walls or unit so that any stragglers wont destroy your buildings before you can get there. keep throwing down farms and quarries and lumber yards and houses, build units and time your wave defense carefully. its one of those games like They Are Billions that takes awhile to get good at but its pretty cool once you do, and watching a couple other poeple play is interesting to see their strategies
