We're a small homestead family in Northeast Oklahoma that raise a handful of different animals (and children ). Come along and learn with us!
We got her separated just in time!
Mama pig (Wilma) is due any day and we need to separate her from Pebbles and Fred so she can have some space to birth her babies and not risk any unnecessary deaths like last time.

Getting Another Goat

We pick up a mama nigerian dwarf and her baby. This was a few months ago and we have since rehomed her and her baby. She unfortunately had mastitis so we treated her for that and decided to sell her in order to get a couple more does that were in milk.

Building a shelter for our new goat

We returned home from church and discovered our pig had gotten out of his pen. Watch us wrangle him back in.

There is no state required auctioneer license in Oklahoma.

I'm in bird business my self so not hating but there so little money for profit on poultry when you say making money today at that scale we are talking maybe 100 bucks if you really sit down an figure it out just trying to help you out before you dig yourself a hole do it for hobby or family unless your on a 300 plus bird scale then an depending on breed then there's some money to be made
Yeah, we actually were able to get a better deal from some 4H kids after this auction that were already ready to butcher. This was our first experience with an auction as well as meat birds.
You kinda jumped on those meat birds I didn't hear a single bid you could of got then for cheaper if ya just would have waited a second

@@movinon1242 its not the law, just the culture ... the auction culture its not that big in our country ... we are more in direct selling and negotiation

The auction is the last Saturday of every month. The next sale is Feb 26 we will be there filming again

My goodness what a large family and I love your bulldog I own one also he’s my medical service dog and I’m also teaching him how to corral my chickens to make them go in their house at night
