I'm glad folks are still getting more manuals. I almost bought a black 1LE variant of this car the first year they were available. It was so confusing because it sat at the dealership for MSRP for months before someone picked it up. Most of the 1LE variants were getting snagged before they even hit the lot. They have a white 2017 1LE variant out there with around 5k miles for 65k right now. I just don't like the white.

I picked up my 2023 ZL1 on Feb 2, 2023. The car was built during the week of 1/9/23. It was worth waiting 8 months for. It is hard to keep it below 4,000 rpm for the break in period. The Shark Skin Metallic paint looks great.

@@jackthereefer1 I'd love to have one. I'd have to sell my Type R first. Even then, it would be a foolish financial decision for me so I'm holding off. Are dealerships charging markups on the ZL1 now like they are in other cars? Back several years ago I assumed they had a markup in the black ZL1 1LE variant. I figured that's why it wasn't selling. Nope, they were selling it at msrp.

@@Joe_Friday I paid MSRP for the car because I ordered it. The dealer was charging 3,000 over when I ordered the car. I don't know if they still are doing that. Chevrolet did have a 500-dollar rebate when I picked up the car. I was also able to get 500 dollars of dealer fees. However, the car went up 4500 dollars in 2023. The car cost 69,990 dollars with the gas guzzler tax and transportation. It sure is fun to drive and hear that blower whine. Life is good.

@@jackthereefer1 I'm confused. You paid MSRP but the dealer was charging 3k over? Does that mean you talked them out of the 3k premium?
