I judge anime music while hoping to get my own music in anime so that it can be judged, possibly by me.
This Anime's OST is Saving the Fantasy Genre

Bland and generic isekai have ruined the fantasy genre for anime. Thankfully, there are still some series like Delicious in Dungeon that are making an effort to utilize the aspects that made isekai so intriguing in the first place.

Trigun Stampede's OST Was Robbed
มุมมอง 2994 หลายเดือนก่อน
«PATREON» www.patreon.com/GengaJupite Trigun Stampede undoubtedly had the best soundtrack of 2023, written by the wonderful 加藤達也 (Tatsuya Kato). But not only did it not win at the Crunchyroll Awards, it wasn't even nominated. So here's why all the judges were wrong. «INSTAGRAM» gengajupite «TWITTER» GengaJupite «DISCORD» discord.gg/uFRzpKK «SECOND CHANNEL» youtube.com...

I’m gonna say this since you said she’s overrated. I’d say she’s underrated.
Chickmas lead me to this video. Sharing it with my wife 😂
I prefer the English soundtracks of the Pokémon movies 🍿
Why my goofy ahh watching this, i dont understand any of these lol, my ahh is not a musician💀
I never thought about the music, but makes sense.
Thank you for covering this! Can't agree more that the OST complements the world building so well in the anime! I hope they'll also record the orchestra concert for those who can't attend in person
The songs are great Especially love the twinkling ash from regal lily
Hopefully this year we will get better nominations like Frieren/Dungeon Meshi/Spice and Wolf (just kidding, we will probably get more hero aca and demon slayer nominations 😆)
i love this anime, season 2 when?
Nice vid
Maybe pokemon being handled by 4kids was a good thing.
6:40 At first I thought it was going to sound like "his world"
erasing half the face multiple times is such a mood
The whiteboard drawing makes me happy. Like Phos is.
Mad spoilers but not really. • • • • • 10,000 years is a metaphore, Phos was actually examining the OP. Much more time passed. "I've always been alone" refers to getting no bitches because of that.
Great video! Subbed. Also Ayatsuji is best gril.
Underrated goat anime.
this needs more views holy shit
Taku Iwasaki + Lotus Juice = Pure awesomeness
wait, is princess connect some higurashi cries type shit?
Personall, the way I watched is kinda weirdo. First of all, I never know bf that it has 2 parallel movies to watch. I just watch the blue cuz, the title kinda interest (To every you, I love) I just wanna know How context will explain this title and at the end I felt completely end. but after 2 months I just realize there’s one more to watch. I completely impress by the way they tell story. btw Even I have chance to pick up what to watch 1st I still choose Blue to Red. I really wanna know why others said Red to Blue is better.

I recommend red then blue so it's not confusing
I believe mephistopheles would be the crow girl. Since she enabled them their second chance and Aqua’s chance for revenge, but also tried to discourage Aqua from sacrificing himself in spite of that. That all wraps up with ch163 (which ofc didn’t exist when you uploaded this video), where Aqua commits to his plot for revenge anyways, killing the devil at the cost of his own life. The crow girl then wheels for his death even though she did not actively try to stop him in the end. Also 162 just matches the ending songs visuals almost 1 for 1. So you were quite spot on calling this ED deeper than it looks.
Also, his finale act was to create a lie to save Ruby, by killing their father without letting him drag her down with him into that abyss. He is also just saving the same girl he was never given a chance to save in his previous life.
3 years later, randomly seeing this great analysis & subscribing
Where did you find the sheet music?
I transcribe all the music in my videos, and the sheets are available on my Patreon!
Excellent analysis, extremely underrated video
Don't say I don't know him just because you don't, of course I know who Yutaka Yamada is.
oh no I missed this stream?! ;( Hope you had a fun birthday! (my 30th is in a few months so I feel you lol) Looking forward to more composition analysis!
Haha don't worry, I'll be continuing this stream at some point since I didn't cover nearly as much music as I thought I would!
Thank you so much for this video!!! It saddens me that we can never have a 4Kids Pokemon again. That time period of Pokemon just hit different. We chalk it up to nostalgia and being adults now, but nah man, 4kids Pokemon is where it's at. From the script, humor, to the music (I mean we got bangers like T.B.A.Master, PokeRap, Pokemon Dance mix!!)
this video is quite underrated. I've fallen in love with that song the moment I found it. Instantly I was reminded of old shool shoujo
Sorezore no sekai de, sorezore no boku ga kazune no koto aishiteru "in every world, every me will love every kazune" that shi is romantic as hell 🥹
I think it's unavoidable that the hype of an anime has influence over the hype of an ost. Penkin wrote the ost for a hugely hyped anime and he was a white guy working in an asian industry. It is a dream come true for weebs.I think he also works in a style that is fairly unique in anime so i think he's fairly recognizable for people who aren't super knowledgeable about music. He's also a bit of a personality. He's a hairy chested aussie who likes to drink. Evan Call is an incredible western composer, but I don't think his work is as easily identifiable for average listeners nor does he show up on popular anime podcasts. 1) anime hype 2) western composer 3) easily identifiable for average listeners 4) bit of an internet personality.
I just watched it a couple of times, i know i am late but watching them i realized if you watch blue to red you are going to shiori route and at the end they get (spoiler!!!!) ........................................they get married in the afterlife in the red one, but if you watch red to blue it is more like going the kuzune way, basically kimi or whatever his name is content with letting shiori go and let her live a happy life without him and pursue kuzune. But i like the red ending because shori and him get married in the afterlife
This anime has one of the most jaw dropping OST's, I've legit ever freaking heard it's so amazing. I could tell the people who worked on it put legitimate soul into it.
i just want to know what is queen bee from 0:48 and i stopped watching
I recently finished watching stampede, and I’ve been so hooked on the ost, it’s almost addictive. That said, I’m not familiar with the composer’s others works or that I know any music theory, so I tried my best to follow along. And honestly what can I say, it felt like I was watching a long movie. The music composition, along with the directing of the story, it really comes across like puzzle pieces perfectly interlocking with each other. Also I loved the diegetic moments with nai playing the piano. Really ties the music and the story together. Oh, and not to mention, the amazing sound design and foley work mixed with the score, makes it simply immaculate.
The soundtrack was amazing tbh. It immediately stands out even on its own, similar to Dr. Stone's ost, at least for me
Welp I aint getting spoiled so I'll have to make due with half a video
The soundtrack has my favorite piece from any media, Fantasy Lied. It holds such a unique emotion that I hadn't felt from any other piece I'd ever heard. I know people often only really talk about the Openings and Endings in anime, but as great as those are I wish more people pushed forward the importance of the actual soundtracks. The OST for Re: Zero is amazing.
Can anyone tell me what's the bgm in the start of the video ?
I am curious where did you get the music score for the REVENGER Main Theme
I transcribe all the scores in my videos! They're also available on my Patreon 👍
I had hkmori - lost playing in my car and she asked 'What is this girl singing about?' and here I am.
HKMORI MENTIONED!!!
13:50 wow, I did not expect that to be EGOIST. She has a pretty eclectic style, but that’s out there.
This is way late, but take a look at 地球共鳴 (ちきゅう きょうめい or "Earth resonance") from Earth Girl Arjuna by the one and only Kanno Youko.
Imagine saying this about the person who composed tomorrow, pathway, hanazeve caradinha, VOH, Juroimoh mutation, San-ken, transcendence and hanezeve, the rumble of the scientific triumph, Prushkas sequence, Lotus, God Suite I II III and IV and Shinzu 😭 (Kevin is the only composer who has made me listen to their music without watching any other of the shows the songs are from (apart from made in abyss), I think that speaks volumes)
Sorry but Kevin Penkin has made me fell things no other composer will ever achive in this industry 😂
>because i have a bias for Roxy Based, i kneel
