Oh my gosh... genealogy is my first love and I've been watching your Dear Myrtle videos for a very long time. I recently discovered junk journaling and had an idea to add my own ancestor stories and copies of documents into my journals and I am now obsessed. You can imagine my surprise a few minutes ago when I happened by chance to discover your junk journaling channel. I am thrilled and, of course, subscribed! 🥰

Dear Myrt, thank you for the information in this video. Now I am more knowledgeable about what I can and can't do with old but not out of copyright books. For the fun of it I clicked on some of your Amazon links. Sadly, they take me to Amazon but they go to a page with my recent purchases. I do not know what I am doing wrong. I seem to remember that other Associate links from TH-camrs take me to the item the person uses. PS. I went to Mrs. Cog's channel and clicked on one of her links which did take me to the page on Amazon for that item. I have looked at your links and her links and cannot tell the difference in why hers worked and your links did not work for me...

Dear Myrtle, Thank you so much for showing us this beautiful journal. Please tell me something--how to you come up with stories to go on all the journaling cards and pages? I have been flummoxed by all the "junk journals" I have seen online and don't quite know how to use them. I have lots of paper from making cards and envelopes but nothing like the pages and cards you have here. Where do you find images? Thanks. I love all the work you do and have followed your genealogy helps for years though currently am RS pres and time has become at an even higher premium...I need to get it together somehow...Thanks again.

I love the Japanese screw punch but rarely think to use it. I love how you explained what you were doing and why you chose the items you chose to use. I would love to know what kind of tape that is. Lol, I tend to do things crookedly too. Thanks for joining us in this project.
