Thank you and it's so great, May I ask u something, how can I fix the problem with the delay time when suddenly the accident as like "example: the wheels suddenly the car got leaking" on delivery and how to fix the the schedule and the customer who angry because their order in delay.. Which clause action we have to give an attention it?
Hello, Amel - thanks for your comment! Delivery delays happen in every organization. There are a few clauses that apply. First you would capture customer satisfaction (9.1.2). Record the non-conformance (missed deliver date) in clause 10.2. Then find the reason (10.2.1 b) 2). Try to get your supplier to be realistic with delivery expectations so you don't disappoint your customer. Maybe a tracking system would help keep you informed of delivery dates. The main question to ask and answer is: what is the weakness in our system that allowed this to happen? Thanks again for asking - I hope this helped...Jim
Thanks again Jim! Reviewed Clauses 5 & 6 also. Much appreciated!

is it a requirement for an ISO 9001 shop to have travelers in order to be compliant in a manufacturing facility?
Not 'travellers' specifically, but clause 8.5.1 (especially f) requires that you are confirming that the specifications are being met. 8.5.1 b) requires monitoring and measuring and a traveller can be an easy way to capture that requirement if the document is designed well. It could be electronic, you just have to have the evidence. You want to know this for yourselves, for sure! Also clause 8.5.2 has 'traceability' requirements that can be met with a traveller. Clause 9.1.3 a) has a requirement to evaluate the product for meeting requirements. Also easy to capture on a traveller. Send me a note directly if you like at jim@simplifyiso.com. Thanks for commenting!
Thank you sir

Yes, it is, Nisarg - coming to an end and looking forward to a fine 2023!
Slightly left field but very much related given your response, what is the value of the term ‘internal customer’ over stakeholders? I’m yet to understand how this doesn’t confuse transactional interrogatives and subsequent prioritisations at any scale of business.
Thanks for taking the time to comment, Paladin - always appreciated! I've always referred to employees as the 'internal customer'. They receive the outputs from any activity upstream from their process. In order for them to perform their activities, the 'output' they receive (like any customer) has to meet their requirements in order to do the next step. All employees are stakeholders, for sure, but not stakeholders are employees. Stakeholders are people who perceive that they can affect or be affected by you management system. In my view, naming these participants shouldn't confuse the process flow, but in your specific situation you may want to clarify the two terms. Remember clauses 4.4.1 a) and 4.4.1 b) require that you determine the processes needed for your system and determine the inputs & outputs. A flowchart does this very well and identifies all of your 'internal customers'. Stakeholders can be referenced as well if you think that would help. Flowcharts to visualize processes and their interactions will also help with prioritization.
This is very helpful. Thank you 😇

could you please further explain the structured and comprehensive principle?
Certainly, Kareen - thanks for asking! The ISO 31000:2018 Standard suggests for this section that '...A structured and comprehensive approach to risk management contributes to consistent and comparable results...' In other words, for a more effective Risk Management program, you will want to build some sort of 'methodology' so that you are identifying, analyzing and assessing risks consistently. If you use the same technique over and over you'll be able to spot changes in the effectiveness of how you're managing risks (+ or -). By doing these activities (identifying, analyzing and assessing) in a random way, you won't be able to draw any valid conclusions about trends. Comprehensive refers to the 'scope' of your risk management activities - as the scope grows, you're being more 'comprehensive' or complete. I hope that helps, and please keep asking for clarifications!
Risk can be used as a tool for destroying plans. We try to administrate risk in ISO 31000 series in order to avoid this phenomena to happen. Following ISO STANDARDS OVER RISK MANAGEMENT AND GUIDE TO MAKE DECISIONS UNDER THE EXAM OF RISK FACTORS. WE MINIMIZE OR TAKE THEM AWAY SO WE CAN DEVELOP PROPERLY.
Thanks for your comment, Monica - that sounds like a great way to take advantage of the information in the ISO Standards. If your organization deals with Information and has a concern about information security, you may enjoy reading ISO 27005 - Information Security Risk Management. I assume you're following your work flow to identify risks. Change management (ISO 9001 - 6.3) can help manage risk here, too.
Thank you for this
My pleasure, Samuel - glad you enjoyed it...Jim
My pleasure, Samuel - there are 3 videos in this ISO 3100 in this series - I hope they're helpful. If your organization is concerned with Information Security, you may want to take a look at ISO 27005 - it's ISO 31000 with an 'Information Security' focus. Very helpful. Happy New Year!
Valuable videos. Maximising benefits if any standard is to cover and integrate with all close related ones (in our case with COSO ERM+IEEE+ISO 22301+27xxx…etc as one system)…
Sample: docs.google.com/file/d/1CCxi5K4WQQgQlBauTBI7Xl4vCPRNwqrz/edit?usp=docslist_api&filetype=msword
Thanks for sharing this Mohammad. I use suggested approach with ISO 27001 - ISO 27000 (definitions) ISO 27002 - implementation guidance, ISO 27005, risk assessment guidance and 27007 - conducting audits for an ISMS. You've left us a fine tip - thanks!
Is there any good examples of Cost of Quality in product software?
You may want to create your own with a spreadsheet to start with. Follow all of the steps that happen after a 'non-fulfillment of a requirement' has happened and create the formula to calculate the cost. Track all of the documenting that happens, meetings, time to order new materials, check the incoming material, stock the material, prepare the material and all of the production or rework steps. Then double that cost because the people doing all this work are not creating revenue - they're not doing their 'real' work! Do the same calculation (and add the cost in) for doing the root cause analysis, corrective action, reviewing the corrective action and assessing the effectiveness of your risk management activities (10.2.1 e). Ask the question, "Could we have anticipated this if we had done a better risk assessment?". Add in the cost of reviewing other processes to see if the same error could occur somewhere else. Now it gets interesting - if your organization operates at a 2% net profit, you'll have to find $50,000 worth of new revenue to make up for a $1,000 mistake!! ($50,000 x .02 = $1,000). If necessary, add in 'opportunity cost' created by all this work - you're not finding process improvements or customers when you're fixing a problem. You can probably create something very effective without looking at a software package. If you do this spreadsheet exercise first, you will be able to choose better software later.
the video image is too poor, you need to fix it more
Thanks for your note, Cuppi - I agree! I have switched to a method where I record myself in Zoom then show the MP4. Glad you asked, Umesh - we have a program for Management System Professionals here at the International Management System Institute where you can take the courses for free and there's no charge to join. Hi, how could Risk & Opportunity be simplified to a medicine regulatory authority who does licensing of products? Thank you.
I apologize for the late reply, Samrat - I didn't have 'notifications' set up properly! I have retrained myself. If it would help to simplify your process, you may want to consider a generic risk table that would cover all applicants (such risks as: logging errors, approving a product without meeting your own requirements for approval, filing the approval in a way that it cannot be easily retrieved, not sending the approval to the proper recipient, etc). Then have a separate risk table for each category of device, with specific risks for that family of devices. This may save the time to make up a specific risk table for each submission. You could also NOT do the first 2, but create a specific risk table (made up from the first 2) for each application. Is that what you were looking for? Thanks for your patience...Jim
THAT WAS BRILLIANT ... THANKS

If an organization is implementing multiple ISO (9001, 14001, 45001), does it need multiple context or only one same context for those ISOs? thank you.
Hello, Randy - thanks for your question! The context is the same for all three - the internal and external conditions are the same, The differences are that some things are more important for the three Standards. For example, 'ready access to skilled labour' is more important for Quality than for EMS or OHS. Creating a 'Safety Culture' is more 'in focus' for OHS than Quality, but there will be overlaps. of course. So even though similar conditions or 'issues' exist for all three, the focus will be slightly different. There's a much more noticeable difference in 4.2, Interested Parties - regulatory bodies for EMS and OHS will outweigh them for Quality unless you're in Pharmaceuticals, Aerospace, Food, Aerospace and other highly regulated industries.
@@SimplifyISO agree, the point is on the focus, same context but different focus. Thank you, really appreciate your answer and response, it's assuring.
