You can use a heavy Toby lure on the bottom of your feathers rather than a weight. Might get a decent size bass as well as mackerel 👊🏼
Good thing about even a hard session is that you learn and progress for the next one . That worm is blow lug mate I’d recommend a baiting needle, makes it easier and quicker to get them on . Happy to find your channel dropped you a sub 👍🏼

Get some of those cheap hand warmers and tuck them in your pockets, big relief, also don’t mind admitting I use washing up gloves for baiting up, big difference👍

Was the strong wind blowing the seaweed onshore? If so, wind direction is yet another thing to consider when planning a trip. The Haven site looked like a good place to stay. What did you think of it?
Never stayed on one of those sites before, but for a first experience yeah it was good I’d say. I don’t understand much about wind direction yet so even if I knew which way it was blowing I wouldn’t understand how that would affect my fishing experience to be honest lol I need to do a bit of research into that

Yeah I was watching this back with my mum and grandparents last Sunday, they said I used too much oil as well so I’m gonna remake another video soon with less oil, and I’m going to actually put the pan on while the fire is still roaring, should have much better results. I waited for the fire to go down because that’s what you do with a coal barbecue but the difference is you don’t put a pan onto a bbq haha the heat goes straight to the meat so needs to be treated differently if I’m going to be using a pan.

Best thing to do mate is find a tackle shop (fishing shop) near to you, and go in there and let them know what kind of fishing you want to do, maybe sea fishing, maybe lake fishing, and they will tell you where to go and what equipment to buy. That was how I learned, most tackle shops are always helpful. Type in “tackle shops near me” on Google. There are some good TH-cam channels out there that have good videos that teach beginners how to start out such as “TA Fishing” and “Saltwater Angler”

Yeah Kev’s been proper proper helpful over the past year or so, good man for sure. You might of made a good decision not getting on that boat mate if it was any worse I would’ve asked him to throw me off the edge of the boat, drowning would’ve felt better 😂 Sick experience though I definitely gotta give it another try and hopefully I won’t feel as rough again.
