Great videos, lived in Catford 'till I was 18, sixty years ago. Unfortunately I didn't recognise any street or area!! Can you perhaps briefly screen the name of a street when your vehicle first turns into it.? It would really help us old duffers.

6:28 That's Crofton Park Train Station .. but it isn't technically "Crofton Park". You would have to turn left at either one of the two roads immediately after the station and travel for about a quarter of a mile to actually be in the suburb of CroftonPark. Yours pedantically Me

Did that trip daily for 6 years when I was a kid back in the 60s on my way to school in Streatham. Lived in Sydenham for over 20 years. Love it every time I go back.

Thanks for this, not been there for years but what a difference to the main high street, the roadway is so very narrow now and huge wide pavements. No wonder people say that drivers are not wanted in towns! Great music too.

I visit my daughter who lives in Loughton. It's a great place. Has lovely Cafes/restaurants, nice independant clothes shops. A few supermarkets. Quite a lot of Churches that are good for reasonable teas and coffees. + [todler activity areas] Sport Centre and library. a wide variety of independant shops. Quite fantastic for a relatively small population.and of course the Tube which you can access popular London tourists destinations.

Always referred to Orpington as Kent ,also Bexleyheath and welling, but I think they have all been gathered into Greater London. Orpington still looks like a country town.Nice video,not been there for years .Thanks😊

Lived in forest gate ,Windsor rd. 1967. Roller skating was a good Saturday night, when I was 15 .

And it has a nice tube station, take you right into Oxford St for the mass shoplifting and anarchy😊

As Leyton is in the East End of London, Leyton is definitely a diverse suburb, with a very large Asian population, with white and black being the minorities.

Turnpike lane to the Great Cambridge roundabout is hardly an afternoon in Edmonton. Nice to see Woodgreen, Turnpike lane, Lordship lane and the A10 nostalgically. Good road trip.
