Going to go with Ivysaur. It's probably the best and most reliable for the early game, unless Scizor learns Steel-type moves early on in this game. Fraxure is a good neutral choice but Ivysaur is probably the best of the bunch. No bad options though!

Beldam is my fav but Gible is probably the best option

Don’t die and I would go with Gible because I played this game and it helps a lot. It has a lot of level up moves that it can learn learn it has a lot of type coverage so I would go with Gible
