I literally had this same thought recently. I played clash growing up but stopped when I was 15 or so. Just re-downloaded the game and had an epiphany about the correlation of building your base and perusing goals in real life. The patience required and pre-defined goals, waiting periods, and deadlines map on to real life in so many ways it's mind blowing.

The only thing that counts in consistency,nothing else will gain you any progress

Yo bro i can relate to a lot of things you said in the video, i also had almost the same life experience like you. I can’t tell my whole life story here but in short terms, i hated school my whole life too and despite that i had the best grades in my class all the time. Not bcz i loved school but rather bcz i was afraid of failing. And about the journal thing, i also thought that if i somehow don’t/can’t use the content of my journal, why would i even consider wasting my time doing that? Or even writing my memories down looked somehow cringe and almost felt like a movie world thing to me. I also have had anxiety about the future my whole life and i just realized how much time i wasted worrying or being anxious about the things that didn’t really matter. But now after watching your video, i feel like i need to give this a try and see the results. Thanks for making this video.

I was really feeling unorganized and stuck in a rut. Unable to get my shit organised...restarted my CoC account after 6 years...slowly started seeing the positive effect it started having in my life

You forgot the part where I quit COC in 2 days cus the waiting mechnics is annoying and unfun

Think about it this way, when you procrastinate and not meet deadline, it would be like cancelling your 12 days upgrade on a building on the last minute wasting time and resources. Irl terms You didn't grow stronger as a person And another is IRL you have unlimited gems, you can upgrade yourself right away but instead of money it would be with hardwork/dedication, probably much closer to the speed up potions in game but y'all get it

I struggle with this too. It's important to put insecurity & ego aside and just keep going! Looking back at my life there's not a single creative project that I regret doing, I only regret not starting some of them at all.

Games being useful in developing cognitive performance, critical, and analytical thinking is nothing new.

Hi Mikus, this was a nice video. I am in my 3rd year in college studying computer science and I have severe anxiety on what I would do in the future. I also avoided it just like you and I should i should try to start writing :)
