I need to do all the wheels on the truck and trailer. That’s my plan. To learn and maintain. Plus the tanks and steps

I was wondering about the conspicuous tape in truck trailers and fuel tankers. So do you normally remove it and replace with new each time; or can you work around it. I’d like to get my aluminum caps and load heads in the tanker looking super good. I think I’ll start by hand and use the dremel looking tool that you used on the tunnel ram

Any recommendations for repairing shallow gouges inside a pan from wire wheel use to clean off rust? More like swirl marks, but a little deeper than a light scratch…? Sandpaper? Grinder to even out the inside cooking surface?
